I think if you’d stop swinging out of your shoes (or socks in this case) with your driver you’d be more consistent in hitting some fairways. Distance ain’t all that if you can’t hit the fairways.

I remember a lesson video with Grant where you slowed down that tempo, let it collect at the top, then turned through and were crushing drives. Speed only helps if it's through the ball, if you release that speed too soon it kills your speed.

Stephen, at 12:14 you are seeing italics on spin. Are you not using RCT or a metal dot? Regardless those don't affect side spin with Trackman indoor. What does is impact location. Trackman actually calculates spin axis indoor and if it misses impact gear effect is basically non existent. I see it with my TM4. They need to fine tune driver spin axis indoor for sure. Odds are that is what is happening here. But also, for backspin you need a metal dot or to use RCT balls. Otherwise those italics mean it's estimated and can be far off.

Yo Steve, you're slicing not because of grip, It's because you're essentially sideswiping the ball and spinning it like a tennis backspin. You need to hit straight through the ball a fraction of a second longer. Maybe try turning your hips faster and ALL THE WAY THROUGH.
At the end, the first swing we saw, you were swinging in to out and purposely turning close the face at impact which drew. Then you were tryna hit a fade with a out to in path but you were also closing the face so it went straight left a little bit. Mentally you wanted a fade but your body was accustomed to closing of the face.
Chipping. Consider the distance from the ball to the screen. If its 15' then you know chipping it to the screen is a 15' shot and then you have to play the green. If its down hill then you dont have to go as far. It seems like you think the ball always has to hist the screen. If its a short chip like 10' then the ball doesnt need to hit the screen.
Until you practice chipping on the sim should probably just chip it 5 feet to get it on the green. It’s common to swing too hard since there isn’t any perception on how far away the hole really is

Hey Steve! Just letting you know.. that on your downswing you don't roll your wrist over, by this I mean, closing the face on the dowswing. The fade with your driver is caused by the face lagging open and not rotating shut through the ball.
