really like it with the footage just the sounds are sometimes dulling down the narrator and it gets almost drummed out bij the video sound of explosions or machine gun fire
For me, if background combat noise was lowered by another 30% it would be amazing. It’s very overwhelming, especially with headphones or when listening over vehicle. Overall I really liked it 🎉
My grandfather was in the army back in that era, he served in the 2nd world war, Vietnam and North Korea. I would like to find out more of his personal history when he served. Where can i find out more?
Do people just post videos without checking the audio first? .. like most war related videos you post, you can't hear the narrators voice over the background noise
My great grand uncle passed away in this war. He was 22 years old, survived the 2nd world war as a teenager. . He died in 1952 in captivity in Pyongyang when me mother got born. Such a mess of a war .
An interesting note, the germ weapons mentioned in 17:47 were in fact those from Unit731 General Ishii. He was studying them for the US as part of the deal.
At aboot 4 min mark, the narrator somehow made it sounds like there was no mass bloodshed between WW and the Korean conflict. That's how they elided it over when I was in public school. I haven't and won't do the exact numbers, but I have a feeling there was an on-par casualty rate in the years 1945 to 1963.
The Ethiopian contingent participated from the south side once sustaining casualties where they asked the fellow Americans to give them cover so that they could retrieve their fallen comrades...so goes the saying... "Not Leaving Fallen Comrades Behind!" After the war, the South Koreans always show their appreciation for what the young Ethiopians together with the other nations, what they sacrificed in the name of freedom. It is sad to still see 2 Koreans N&S?! A Korean War Veteran Ato/Mr Seyoum Negdie comes to mind-He was a Mgr for Ethiopian Airlines Technical Svc 😊

Just think the B-52 would be introduced to the airforce a couple years later. The A model was probably in testing.
What’s the point of putting clips in the video if they are just going to be censored?
millions live in freedom today due in a big way to the 1st marine division being present in korea from 1950 to 1955
The audio narration track is not clear, can hardly distinguish it from the audio of the original reel.

I was drafted to fight in the Korean War 1951 to 1953 Truman was President at that time I served for 2 years decorated with military medals and a letter from President Kim Dai Jung of South Korea.
really like it with the footage just the sounds are sometimes dulling down the narrator and it gets almost drummed out bij the video sound of explosions or machine gun fire

This story is so under told. Well deserved a band of brothers story to teach the masses.
that will never happen because they lost this war
@paddypgaming23 Bravery, Commitment and courage Wether won or lost should be taught. Look at the French foreign legion for example.
ther"s a bit of an audio mixing problem in this doc , the voice is too low compared to the other sounds
For me, if background combat noise was lowered by another 30% it would be amazing. It’s very overwhelming, especially with headphones or when listening over vehicle. Overall I really liked it 🎉
The extreme cold made the war difficult and has killed a lot of soldiers...hence the book "The Coldest War".

Good video, too bad audio was off, when guns, planes etc were on you could barely hear the narrator.

My daddy was s Korean War vet.
Not sure how smart it was to have c-4 strapped to the fronts of those tanks😳😳😬😬😬
It's better than keeping it inside the tank.

An interesting note, the germ weapons mentioned in 17:47 were in fact those from Unit731 General Ishii. He was studying them for the US as part of the deal.

Easily the best documentation out there. Figures Stalin had his hands in this.
He actually didnt , cos n korea Asked him, He said He is fine with it as long China supports n korea
If you are going to tell this story, with the noise level this high, please use writing on the bottom of the film, cant hear the talking.

Why does it blur some of the footage ?
They all talked about the freezing cold we didn’t have winter clothes & gear

It's a shame this country was ripped apart.
First time I've heard of the Korean War was sometime maybe in late 2000's or early 2010's.
Are you serious?
Just curious how old are you?

No mention of the Irish from Kerry (Catholics) that joined any arny they could to stop Communism. I knew 2 of those heros of freedom (in my opinion} and I am a much younger English Proddy WASP. Those 2 men set my moral compass. Knowing the right thing to do by defending those in need

Too bad many Irish died fighting for the Brits in ww2 while they supported the anti-Christian soviet commies
You really need to mix the sound better
Great footage what few minutes I watched, background noise level little to loud and narration little to low.
Volume ok
Why did I get a warning before being able to watch this video that it may be offensive to some people?
I would be nice if you could hear the commentary.

The forgotten time..➡️⚒️
My Grandfather was a Rifle man a part of the Philippine expeditionary forces to Korea "PEFTOK" and fought at the Battle of Yultong during the Korean War
Background music and footage volume is far too loud, can hardly hear the narrator
My Grandfather was in Korea with the 7th Infantry Division he was apart of the Landing at Inchon, Chosin Reservoir, and finally Tonyang in 51’ where he got injured when a mortar round blew him 5ft and got a bad shrapnel wound. a man from his unit Benjamin Wilson won the Medal of Honor.
My father was in the 7th Infantry Div too .! He fought at PORK CHOP HILL and the 38th parallel.
Back ground noise is way to loud!!!!!!!

My grandpa was a engineer working on the jeeps and trucks in this war
@ 13:33 , what is the name of the American Tank ? Was it the "Patton " ?
Its the Pershing heavy tank
My grandfather was an nco in the sunburst division❤️
I wonder is there any way to fix this audio. It’s too low
Background noise is to loud to hear the MC & blurring out scenes takes away from it.
Shame on TH-cam for censoring history by blurring the video at times. Grow a pair and let people decide for themselves what is offensive to them.
Great film but sound too low
Why is the background noise so high, I can barley hear the narrator!
You should watch and study how professionals balance their narrator versus film noise. This is like listening to a person whisper while right behind them is a passing freight train.
Why is everything blurred out
A wonderful, colorful documentary coverage about the Korean 🇰🇷 War.. with an informative introduction, it's contained, which is a truly introduction relatively ...what was the difference between Red terroristic doing & white terroristic doing... both sides committed atrocities, prosecutions against humanity for going on of global political businesses...when Korean War political shadowing until nowadays ..thats mean it's not
