I'd been riding with them on my street trial bike (and have BB5\7 on my DJ one) for a year or so. And still believe they're the best mechanical breakes you can get for a resonable price. Even though now I have Magura trail\Magura MT2.

Best cable brakes out there, I swapped them over from my full rigid MTB becuase the 2014 model came with shitty elixr 5s which worked fine for like 2.5 sessions before leaks and whatever became a problem 😮‍💨 pleasantly surprised as I haven't tried the trialtech pads yet either which should also make a big difference! I have some MT4 levers but no calipers! And I don't trust the plastic mugura levers to be any more reliable than the avids if I'm honest 😅

(within a reasonable price) ha I'm sure Paul klampers or grotecs would be an improvement

@@willmanhi1 Never heard of them and can't find any at my country's used market. And the price of a new one parts is way too high for me.

@@willmanhi1 Yeah, plastic handles are whimsical solution. By the way, one of my handles is plastic, but the lever is metal. But I like the design in general. And the axle point of lever in handle is way farther from handlbar then in average Shimano-style handle and I like it better.
