Absolutely fantastic!! A real labor of love, and tons of money. Unfortunately, you could never sell it for as much as it cost to create it it. But thats common for super frame off restoration. If you're going to go this route, better figure you want to keep it permanently. I love it. I'm sure the owner does too.
What a beautiful rare car! Only thing I’d change personally is reduce the size of the wheels to 18s in the front, 20s In the read with the same style chrome rims. Other than that, love it! 😍
Yeoman used to be called Handyman . As for the Nomad , they became a four door wagon from '58-'61 . The public didn't want the two door version, too hard to get into the rear seat . They sold more '58 four door Nomads then all three years of the two door Tri fives combined .
Thanks, interesting have not seen these **58 Yeomans in years,,,,a classmate’s Family had the **58 IMPALA/348/3x2 BBL, LOADED : and big Chevy Dealers around , FAINTLY REMEBER HEARING ABOUT 58 Yeomans, etc. Imwould think a small quantity made and none at all in Original Factory Manufacturer’s CONDITIONS;:: Yeoman Experts ????... Interestingly, also, some of Chevy Dealers etc had a lot,of special “Options” in 50-60s to add ,etc.I guess, actual precedes YENKO, ET AL Tuners/dealers....Not to mention some Federal Agencies got KIND OF special WAGONS 57-59??Probably a fertile study Field,
Yes YEOMAN were low # less than 15,000. If you wanted a 2 dr wagon, wasn't a NOMAD - that was a 4 dr wagon for 1958. You are right about a special wagon. It was a combo delivery / Yeoman. these wagons had windows, one bench seat. and a lift gate not a split tailgate, super rare. Most cheap wagons had 6 / 3 on the tree. YEOMAN'S were the cheapest wagon you could get. I mean cheap - no arm rests on the doors, only one visor for the driver. That is how my YEOMAN is, unrestored, It has a radio, working - 6 /3 on the tree.
Beautiful!!! The big wheel tiny tire thing is not for me but to each their own.
Absolutely love this wagon 💜👍 5 star restomod!
