    I’ve always done meander when machine quilting. My latest quilt was a king size. Lots of work, but very relaxing. I set my stitch length to zero. Although I’ve been quilting for almost 40 years, I enjoyed your video. Thank you

    Watching your video helped me improve my meandering. I keep hearing your voice saying imagine a river. Also, I noticed that you didn’t change the presser foot pressure dial, which allowed me to have better control. Thanks.❤

      Well done! I'm so proud of you. I'm a very visual person so I think i put that into my teaching. Oh I'm so glad you got it!!!!! Now practice that and move onto something else or you'll get too comfortable.

    This is an excellent video. Thank you for showing how to pull the bobbin thread up. How do you end the process? Can you do a back stitch to secure the work?

    • @FaodailCreation
      @FaodailCreation  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      thank you for the comment. you can back stitch however if you want to enter a quilt show you will have to hide the thread between the top and the backing. you knot and pull it through

    I am making a baby quilt size 45x42 and have never meandered before. I have an Elna machine. Do I start in the middle of the quilt and then work out from the center in one direction, finish that side to the end and then go back to the center to meander the other side until finished? If I don’t have time to complete the quilt in one sitting, do I ever stop or cut the thread as I am meandering or do I just stop meandering, walk away from my machine, and then come back and pick up where I left off?

    • @FaodailCreation
      @FaodailCreation  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Start from the middle and work your way out. That's correct. Yes you can start and stop I usually will do a backstretch over the top to secure it. If you enter a quilt show mind you you won't be able to do that.
