    im 19 , and have always done hair but just now about a year ago maybe, actually started doing not just friends hair . Everyone loves my work but it feels like it take so long.     I been practicing since 4 . Braiding others since 8. 31 now and licensed. Same story here. Been doing my own since 11 now I have locs. Lol. Had to comment cuz i rarely hear of ppl who been braiding early. A lot of youtubers just started in the past few years where as many of us braiders have over 20years of experience. Love your work

    I used your method to prep hair and baby I felt so good because it took me 5 hours to do knotless instead of about 7. Stopping and starting does tire you out. So much better. Oh yeah, your other tips work as well.

    My problem is parting I need to look at some of your older videos. I started to use product because saw you doing it. Its getting better but its the sizing some of mine are smaller than others when doing box braids

      I had this problem too! Now I use my fingers to measure the parts. It helps keep all parts the same size and eventually you can eyeball it.

    Great tips! I consider myself a home braider, been braiding family's hair since I was in middle school. I'm now considering learning it professionally and perfecting my craft so I can make some money, & possibly quit my job.     I just graduated from high school and I’ve been trying to build my clientele for years I finally got some clients but I don’t think they coming back because of how slow I am with braiding. So I need to increase my speed so I can get them out quick but with some nice braids as well. I wasn’t satisfied with how long it took me for yesterdays client and how it came out either.

    I use dollar tree baby lotion to braid down 😂 it provides the perfect amount of slip and since it’s water base it just rinsed away during the dip

    I really appreciate this video! I did my sister hair the other day and I was trying to time myself but the time was like 9 hours for smedium Fulani braids and in reality I know nobody gonna want to sit that long so I’m definitely taking note so I think this will speed up my braiding process! ❤

    I like this method but continuous braiding down hurts my shoulders at times.

    This was helpful. I’m just starting to learn and I have issues breaking the hair up evenly where my braids are different in size? WhT would you say would help me as a tip to practice?… I have a second issue … people hella get impatient with me even though they know I’m learning and it takes me longer to get this done. Any tips for this issue as well?

    Yessss I’ve been doing hair for a whole year and I get so frustrated sometimes because I don’t have a lot of clientele and I am still learning and I feel like I am suppose to be farther then that any advice
