Love this new song, love the power trio format. This way we get to see each musician shine, and in my very humble opinion WOW did they shine. For me, by far the best set of the weekend 👌 superb.
I find it ridiculous that if you go to the BBC website to STREAM this RECORDING on the INTERNET, The site says "you MUST have a TV licence to view, do you have one"? I tested it and said no, It wouldnt allow me to stream. Yet here on YT, on the BBC YT channel......
Dominic Miller missed a beat to take the bottleneck and he got less focussed afterwards... then he forgot to play on the finishing beats. However I like the song a lot and they'll surely improve it live!
The problem with this current Sting line up is people are just going to compare to The Police, and it doesn’t work as fine as the other musicians are . Sting solo in my opinion works best with the larger bands he has employed in the past and more suited to post Police material . Anyway the Sting voice seems largely intact and he’s still keeping fit😂❤
I would love to see Paul Weller and Sting do a song together- but neither so blues-inspired (enough, already). I think it’s a sadistic wish of mine. ;) Two men enter the stage…
@@NachoDimari Ha! That’s the reason I thought of it. Had a chat with an old friend about the time we watched the ‘making of’ mini doc when it came out. It’s just been rattling around in my head ever since.
this rough style touches. it is not 'pretty' or 'super inntelligent programmed' .. but just ear catching. a masterpiece somehow because it is not ready yet.
What a horribly predictable and boring song. Sting wtf are you playing at ??? "I never want to stand in the same water twice?" Yeah, well you've been doing just that for years now.
Well, it's not the first time Chris Maas has played drums for Sting. Sting knew his style and could have chosen literally anyone for this huge concert, but he picked Chris for a reason. Sometimes it's about fitting the music’s vibe, and Sting clearly trusts him to deliver that.
Seems like you were not a Police fan. If you were you you would know he's has been singing like this for decades. I my self was so happy to see him bring back the Ska/reggae from when The Police first started!😢😂
Wonderfull song !❤❤❤
You tube is world wide! So should be Music! THX for uploading here.
Many times in 44 years of good music, I wrote Sting‘s name on my heart.

Amazing Sting!
This makes me feel young, in that Sting was having his initial chart hits when I was 5. I don't say that's not a long time.
Thanks GMA for bringing my attention here today.
An upcoming new album, colleagues! We Ukrainians look forward to hearing it during the promo tour in Kyiv (after our victory)! 🎉🎼♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
❤❤❤❤
He's wrote some excellent songs, and this one.
I find that it's a romantic notion to have your name written on someone's heart ❤
Rather messy putting it there
It would be amazing if you actually knew where the phrase came from. But he’ll never admit it publicly.
Nothing pretentious, just great vibe and music. Love it.
❤
I think it's really interesting that he plays with a trio and uses a backing track. Did he do that before?
He used guide vocal tracks on the Synchronicity tour.
Sting 3.0 ❤❤❤
Love, is stronger than justice...................................
That makes no sense
@@boomerhgt Tell Sting, he wrote it!

Lovely T. What T is he wearing?
I want Stings T-Shirt! who makes it?
Wouldn’t it have made sense for Snow Patrol to headline Saturday and Manics to headline Sunday? They deserve the longer set.

Who’s playing the keyboards?

Not playing new bass? New sexy T-shirt! True balladeer 💙💙

No. No, Sting.
Please grab Paul Weller and help each other return to non-shite.

The only time they did that was duranguense the recording of Do They Know It's Christmas back in December 1984

I also see why Sting doesn’t play many shows in the UK,very boring crowd 😂
Sting is a boring self obsessed twat full of himself.

In other words it's pish
@@boomerhgt no. it´s rough.

Sting sucks
You can't win them all...
After watching Stewart, Omar, and Manu over the years this drummer seems a bit dull.

boring song, time to rest in Tuscany
Ummm. Maybe it's just me, but - I think the song is bad and his voice should be conserved in order to sing other, better songs.

no offense meant but it's you. This song has a hook big enough to snag half the universe .
the time of the Police is long gone
