Metalcore has "changed" significantly IMO over the years. Nik Nokturnal ALWAYS says that "My Curse" by Killswitch Engage is the metalcore song, the defines metalcore. I hear it, and I see evolution. But lately song like this video, and many more don't come under the same genre IMO. MMF, MIW, WCAR, I prevail etc fit the bit. This seems like Djental. (Djent/metal) Metalcore is still a thing, but not this. New genres can still be metal, but Metalcore has its own history.
