If You want leather seats get the Rubi X... I called my local Jeep dealer here and I asked him does the Rubi come with the Power seats, He had to get with his order person and it comes on the Rubi, Sahara, Rubi X, and Rubi 392...
I was hoping to buy a 24, but hate that you can only get the V6 with the rubicon or X. I am not a fan of the 2.0L. Also, just like you, confused as why things like power seats, leather seats, and painted fenders are currently exclusive to the X. That has to be a mistake, right...? I don't want a Rubicon X lol
Agreed. I’m hoping that the order site will be revised going forward. I know that Jeep often adds/deleted options as they move through the model year. A lot of times stuff goes away and then comes back too.
Not a fan of the enlogated infotaiment center. Reminds of a VW. Being a old boomer myself, the elimination of the "antenna" for AM/FM antenna is a lil sad, as I grew up with those iconic antennas. Leather seats? Its only leather seating surfaces, the rest is vynl.
The screen does look a little odd, especially when off. I’m a boomer as well, but we always switched out the antenna for a shorty to avoid it snagging on trails.
The grill bib or goatie looks a little weird. 🤔 why did they squish the iconic 7 slots and then add a chin piece to cover things. Why not make the grill a size to cover that area. 🤔 but everyone will get a new 2024 mainly because of the screen and side air bags... everything else is fluff to make it more expensive...
Agreed on the grill. Not a fan of any body color on the front of the vehicle due to rock chips and love bug damage (it’s a Florida thing, they eat into the paint). We were going to be purchasing this year regardless of the change, but the new screen and side curtain air bags are a plus for us.
We didn’t think it looked bad in person. We’re thinking about the satin black grill which has a more traditional look. There are some definite pluses to the redesign. It is a pain accessing anything behind the grill on our current JLU due to how jammed up the winch is.
I was all set to buy a 2024 Rubicon until I saw that leather and electric seats only available on the Rubicon X. I don’t really want an X but I may have to upgrade. Like you I am hoping the seats will be more comfortable.
The leather seats were available on the regular Rubicon when the site first went up. Jeep changes things like that throughout the year so I expect them to be offered. The electric seats I’m not as confident with. We really wanted the electric seat option, but the Rubicon X has too many options we don’t want (painted fenders and full-time four wheel drive to name a few).
We have decided to get the Rubicon X in order to get power leather seats and the color matched roof. May will trade out the painted fenders for black and see if we can get anything for the color matched fenders. What did you decide?
Your video is kind of smashed looking.I just don't like the tiny grill though it makes it look dark.I love Jeep Wrangler and I hope they don't go to crazy on the computer world. Dodge and Jeep is the only one left with Actual vehicles and Back wheel drive and Four wheel drive
Definitely respect your feelings about the grill. One of the positives with the big screen is that they left the manual controls in place. A lot vehicles are switching to all on screen which sucks when bouncing down a trail. Definitely agree on your last thought as well, that’s why the Rubicon X isn’t an option for us, it has the electronic transfer case.
The 2024 Jeep Wrangler buying options are PATHETIC! What a disappointment! That new grill is not offered on the Sport S. You need to get a Willys or a Rubicon for that....what if you're a grown man and don't want stupid hood sticker labels. Also, if you want the Sport S and want a 6 cylinder you have to go with manual transmission...automatic is only offered with the 4 cylinder. Oh, and the color options suck too. 2024 JEEP=COMPROMISE
I believe the options will expand once production is ramped up. This is typical for Jeep when new options or models come out. Hopefully some of your desired option combinations will be available in the near future.

I have an 392 Anvil '24 on order but this hydro blue is looking good with the red seats too 😅

Already priced a 18 to 23 grill for when i order one.
Thinking we are going with the satin black option on ours. Would like to see some production pics first though.

I hate the grill. Looks like a Renegade. Not a fan of the 12” screen either. I’ll keep building on my 2021 Willys.
It is definitely different. Hopefully it will grow on you as time goes by, but you have a great platform to build upon.
