Some of us do know how to appreciate tap dancing and can see how sloppy this was at parts... To clarify, because some of you are incredibly defensive to the point of being plain rude, I agree she is a good dancer. Tap is difficult, and she was able to execute all the movements well, for the most part (her wings were sloppy at best, but she was precise and her musicality was good). However, tap is as much about performing as hip hop. Though you feet are constantly moving, it is important to have a fluid upper body that matches the movement. This is where both her AND her partner faltered, making the performance awkward and boring. I do also feel that the boards were obviously slippery (they both slipped a few times) and the choreography was not great, but I still expected better. This is coming from someone who has grown up tap dancing.

People are saying its boring, but tbh i was more bored watching another hiphop dance, so many people are doing the same thing over and over, but she did something different and it was really entertaining to me, she was happy and she was smiling and i enjoyed her preformence the most! So proud of Bora!!! But maybe this is just me, like in the first episode i liked the most Hyo's and Taemin's preformences. In the second theme Hoya and Ten won my heart. And here Bora was the best for me. Im waiting for more!
I think you're right. Just one thing: for me, it's boring in the sense that I also do Tap dance and I know a lot of famous tap dancers and this dance is... boring in term of tap dance. But however, it's less boring than some hip hop dances that are always the same thing. I totally agree with you.
Wow. I am legitimately impressed. K-pop idols can all cover various modern dance styles, but tap dancing? That's old-school, and Bora deserves major props both for attempting it on a dance program like this and doing it well.

Ah the end was so cute!! Man I'm so impressed with Bora on this show. The choreography is really difficult and the dance style is really difficult as well. Bora was so cool for showcasing this type of dancing. It was refreshing and also heartwarming because she looked genuinely happy to share something she's been doing and has talent in. I also loved how everyone was reacting to it, the performance wasn't lost under all the synchro/choreo team dances, it deserved and got the attention. And it always makes me smile to see Feeldog being so into it from the beginning, he stood up to see what was going on with the legs. That was cute!

Let me tell you something doing a tap dance is such a ballsy move omg you REALLY need to know what you're doing in order to do it. If you mess up with tapping you can't really play it off like others do. If you're off beat everyone hears it and it's easier to be scored lower. There's so much beautiful technique and clear sounds going on here as well as facial expression omg this take years to perfect honestly. So proud of bora!

I'm not into tap dancing but she was AMAZING. Those people saying she was "lacking" are too used to the blaring beats from the performances seen so far. If she had chosen louder music it would take away from the ACTUAL PERFORMANCE bit and the point being the tapping! This isn't just a dance show to see who can be the loudest and wildest -if it is at all. This is a PERFORMANCE show.

most kpop fans are used to seeing hip hop, so as a result they can enjoy hip hop performances better. same goes with tap. if you know a lot about tap and you've done it before, you would appreciate it more. that's why I can understand people who don't find this particularly interesting and can't see the artistic value. although, I'm sure you understand that this was a pretty great performance, and it was quite fun to watch to those of us that are familiar with this dance style :)

She did great! such an amazing performance, its so fresh seeing her doing tap dance when all other contestants do the same hip hop moves. Tap dance isnt something you can master in a night, it was an incredible performance I could feel them truly having fun
well people's who say this boring they got no idea what is tap dance is.. i always love tap dance since young age especially the fast music (got no chance to learn) and tap dance is hard to do duo/couple.. as it mostly great sync with group or alone.. but bora do slayed it with her partner and the ending was awesome..her smile n sexy while tap it... hehe*best way to watch is wearing earphone with max volume... u will impressed the show ;)
I tried different kinds of dance before and I do think tapping is the most difficult for sure. It's amazing for her to do it in a short preparation time whoa! I underestimated her skills before but now I think she is one of the best dancers in Kpop for sure. I'm looking forward to seeing more dance of hers.

Tap is so hard to pick up if youve never done it before, she did so well and all of her sounds were incredibly clean! It shouldnt take special moves for tap to be impressive the audience rlly needs to get with the program smh

I'm not into tap dancing but she was AMAZING. Those people saying she was "lacking" are too used to the blaring beats from the performances seen so far. If she had chosen louder music it would take away from the ACTUAL PERFORMANCE bit and the point being the tapping! This isn't just a dance show to see who can be the loudest and wildest -if it is at all. This is a PERFORMANCE show.

most kpop fans are used to seeing hip hop, so as a result they can enjoy hip hop performances better. same goes with tap. if you know a lot about tap and you've done it before, you would appreciate it more. that's why I can understand people who don't find this particularly interesting and can't see the artistic value. although, I'm sure you understand that this was a pretty great performance, and it was quite fun to watch to those of us that are familiar with this dance style :)

She did great! such an amazing performance, its so fresh seeing her doing tap dance when all other contestants do the same hip hop moves. Tap dance isnt something you can master in a night, it was an incredible performance I could feel them truly having fun

well people's who say this boring they got no idea what is tap dance is.. i always love tap dance since young age especially the fast music (got no chance to learn) and tap dance is hard to do duo/couple.. as it mostly great sync with group or alone.. but bora do slayed it with her partner and the ending was awesome..her smile n sexy while tap it... hehe*best way to watch is wearing earphone with max volume... u will impressed the show ;)
I tried different kinds of dance before and I do think tapping is the most difficult for sure. It's amazing for her to do it in a short preparation time whoa! I underestimated her skills before but now I think she is one of the best dancers in Kpop for sure. I'm looking forward to seeing more dance of hers.
