I didn't think when I visited this jungle for the first time that one day I'll make a film for this park and it is a dream come true moment for me. I'm humbled that I got a chance to showcase the hard work done by the green soldiers of the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department to save Barasingha from the edge of its extinction.
Nothing happens overnight, and it took nearly seven decades of hard work and sacrifice by so many people, to get here - that today Barasingha population has increased to 1000+ from 66. It is considered India's one of the most incredible and successful conservation story for a reason.
The story of Madhya Pradesh state animal Hard Ground Swamp Deer Barasingha.

These aren't just videos, these are documentation of our great heritage. I congratulate your team, and wish you best for future projects. I also hope that MoEFCC hires people like you and use your work for environmental awareness programmes.

An excellent documentary. Amazed by its simplicity & pristine nature. We need more such conservation measures & projects. Land has become extremely scarce in India due to population explosion & is under enormous pressure. We must protect all our national parks, sanctuaries, reserves & biospheres at all cost. Their wellbeing & if possible, further expansion shall be treated as top national priority. Situation is so precarious that if we do not remain ever vigilant & proactive, these paradise could be lost for ever under the relentless pressure of the demonic population growth & ever increasing greed for land. Salute the entire staff & personnel who made this documentary possible.

What a lovely video. I have visited Kanha twice and seen the Barasingha, it is so important to highlight those who do so much to look after India's wildlife. Telling the wider story of India's wildlife conservation successes educated all of us. The more of us who learn that he jungles of India are not just about tigers, but all wildlife, the better it is for our planet.
In March we saw the Boma capture method in Pench being deployed to transfer cheetal to build up populations in other parks. The world owes all Forest Guards/vanrakshaks and officials who dedicate their lives to India's wonderful fauna and flora our thanks.
Thank you for creating this wonderful video. I will have to look at your other channel to see if I can find more.
