Discovering a Buffet inside a Supermarket -- Hawaii's Amazing $35 Foodland Farms Buffet

- Hawaii, especially the Waikiki area is great but it can get expensive. After exploring the island a bit, visiting the beaches and enjoying the sights, my friends and I was in search of some great poke on the island. And as luck would have it, one of the best poke offerings which happens to be at a great price is in a supermarket! @FoodlandHawaii to be exact. We certainly sampled many pokes including a king crab poke!
And after browsing around, we found that this was more than a supermarket! With a wine bar and a grill restaurant right in the supermarket. And upon further exploring, they even have a buffet!
The buffet that the Eleven restaurant situated in the supermarket as well offers a breakfast brunch buffet including your much needed morning mimosa on the weekends. We couldn't resist and we were not disappointed. For $35, there was an array of Hawaiian favourites: from the local catch of the day, to the luscious ny strip roast and everything in between. Just don't miss out on the great pastries and chowder like I did...
If you are visiting Waikiki or the Honolulu area, definitely give this buffet a visit!

It was a very enjoyable Buffet and that servers and host there just like many people in Hawaii are very kind and friendly. Really enjoyable and and would highly recommend if you’re visiting.

@@TimLeeLetsGo I know if someone does not like a food, they KNOW it's in there. I put one little banana in a family serving of sweet potato and my friend took one bite and knew! I couldn't even taste it.

One of the best French toast I’ve ever had. Yes after seven plates and the mimosa, Rishad certainly got his money is worth.

The menu also has a chocolate banana macadamia bread. Amazing value for $35. Seems like better food quality than Duke's $31 buffet (in Tim's next video). Surprised that Tim was the first vlogger to review this brand new buffet at Foodland's Eleven restaurant. None of the local Hawaiian food vloggers have any videos about it yet. Great find!

Just got back to the mainland after 6 months on Oahu. We did do the poke at Foodland 1 or 2 times a week. Probably the best deal on the island and really good. We would just buy a pound of it instead of the bowl with rice. We had a rice cooker at our place. You get about twice as much poke for the price if you do the rice yourself.
What a lovely laid back buffet..tysm for taking us with you...the big surprise was you taking seconds on the broccolini 😂
That was probably the most foods and veggies I’ve had at a buffet. It is a very laid-back area but so is all of Hawaii. On a sidenote, the bar was fully operational and busy at around 9 AM.😉

I've seen the sign for the buffet at the bar during the week, and thought it was there. So glad to see your video on it. For $35.00 for a buffet in Honolulu that is the best deal in Honolulu, most are now about 60 some dollars per person. The food looks great and good quality.
It’s probably got the freshest items I’ve ever ever had. Great fruits and veggies and seafood. It is quite a good deal, especially including the mimosa.

Being Foodland chain of supermarkets is wholly Hawaii run corporation, there's 3-4 Foodland Farms on Oahu. Foodland was started 1948 @Market City, approx.

I had no idea that there was such a thing as a buffet in a grocery store, but I have had the poke at the normal Foodland, and it was delicious and made for a fantastic picnic!

The Kea'au, Big Island location is my fave.

I think the poke offerings looked better than the buffet. If you ever go back, it would be interesting to see a poke tasting of all the different versions. However, a NY steak for brunch and $35 + mimosa sounds like a winner.

I was quite impressed with the buffet at Foodland! Of all the places, their produce, veggies, and fruits, were amazingly delicious. Everything was nice and freshen really enjoyed it. Dukes was okay as I was really looking forward to the poke.
