If I was a lot younger when I started Haikyuu I may have a different favorite character (not gonna lie, I love all of the characters, but Daichi is my favorite character). Btw, the silliest and most charming moment I remember is when he had that first conversation with Ikejiri and Ikejiri is like "you seem bigger" and Daichi was like "Like wider?!?!". But, anyways, the moment Daichi showed up onscreen in episode 2 was the exact moment I was like "Ahhh...yeah...he's going to be my favorite..." and he has been my favorite every since.
