Well i feel like Selen just feels a bit bad for slipping up.
VTubers usually try to keep the 'secret' even if it's not that much of a secret and everyone involved kind of also doesn't care too much.
There's many VTubers who are keeping their previous identity still somewhat of a secret while doing a lot of things to tip people off about it.
dtto and Selen made it quite obvious, but that doesn't mean that Selen can't feel bad about slipping up.
After all it's also plain obvious for other VTubers IMO who they were previously, but none of the people who knows is spilling the beans, even if the Person concerned doesn't really try to be secretive about it.
What we got to keep in mind is that there's not just a Code of Courtesy between VTubers to not outright 'doxx' each other, but also Company Policy they got to keep in mind.
Selen might face consequences if a VTuber she collabs with gets mad at her for revealing something she shouldn't have, even if that VTuber is Indie and doesn't have an own Company, Nijisanji can punish her.
So while it is obvious who dtto's previous persona was (as it is with Selen and even Polka from Hololive due to many factors) it doesn't mean that others who know are going to spill the beans (Reimu for example stated she's been a Fan of Selen before Selen was Selen.)

I think is the best decision for her. She doesn't get any support from agency which she wanted react more focus in foreign markets(TH-EN). But react only focus on Japanese people.
