It is what it is. I can see and understand both sides of the argument. Leafs probably chose to not wear jerseys and just have a small emblem on their helmets because they saw all the issues with other teams in the league with players not wearing them.

were talking inclusion, inclusion! have every team design their own idea of inclusion sweaters and sell them off for whatever charity they support. to have a pride day, a black day, chinese day, etc etc is stupid. if the nhl wants inclusion , how about rebating costs of hockey equipment and ice time. why are more blacks playing basketball?....all they need is a ball and courts are free, how about baseball, why so many south americans.....money!!! all they need is a ball, bat and glove, diamonds are either free or minimal in cost. i havent seen one instance where being gay was the issue for not getting to play.....its the money!!! $200 bucks for a 45 minutes of ice time, cost of a few sticks, and equipment that doesnt grow with the child, it has to be bought year after year. how about teams/nhl do something to help the younger kids from low income families. we dont need pride night, we need financial support to everyone who needs it....perhaps we can call it inclusion and keep politics out of sport

My kid plays AAA in the GTHL and it is super expensive 8k just to play, plus travelling, hotels, gas, new equipment, $500 hockey sticks, time off work, gym membership to help w/ training etc etc...
plus weve noticed that the richest kids always get the most ice time 🤔 and when I say rich I mean multi multi millionaire rich... like one kid has an elevator imside his mansion rich. And our coach just bought a new mercedes benz... on a hockey coach salary.
