What I learned from this session is that......Choosing yourself is unpopular. You find yourself affirmed, validated, and liked by many because you live for them. THIS GIVES THEM POWER OVER YOU. Choosing yourself is taking your power back from them and bringing it back to you, by not allowing them to validate you because you trust yourself enough! This will forever stick with me, Thank you, ladies. 🤝

Wow…Iam listening to a similar story as mine. I just pulled the plug too last September, and chose myself. Pursued a life long dream of owning a salon i am running a nail bar and hosting wellness events I have made my sums and it’s not totalling to enough money. I am waiting on God to guide me further on what else can make enough to maintain my life style. Thank you for this talk it served me well 🙏🏽🌺

OMG I love Vika so much. I once got employed at her husband then company The Communications Firm. Oh boy, I learn so much about how to run a moving company even though I was there for part-time work. Just abuse after abuse.
Then going no contact with everyone and started a new life elsewhere.
I lost literally everyone including my family.

I'm glad I chose this episode to listen to. I am on a similar path at the moment. I left my corporate job to take a break and figure out my future. Every time I pray and meditate, my answer is always, "live slowly". I thought I was being lazy but I understand why I keep getting this message after being in a stressful environment for such a long time. It's like taking a breath of fresh air after being submerged under water for too long.

The sacrifice one does for a corporate... I am currently on a journey thinking about the freedom to take leave and managed my time. I think sometimes one in corporate is always on auto pilot to be seen as good and thriving at work. The quote from Brene Brown 🙌🙌🙌, yaaas. The process... Trusting the process and learning on yhe journey. That's so true, the test of patience and resilience, as one moves to get to that moment.

For me this conversation was both powerful and a bit emotional. I really feel that God led me to this channel. There's so much growth.
