You can open packs and stock shelves before opening the shop. The clock doesn't start until you hit the Open sign. Good way to wait for the employee and burn card packs
I like to do that at the end of the day. The timer still goes for people playing cards and usually make a few good sales while restocking. Edit: You can press Q on the tables at the end of the day to force people out. They will either leave or spend but without waiting for them to do so.
@@ChargeQM It depends actually. That isn't always true. Because based on events you have a chance of card packs going up/down in price. I actually make more profit on a single 32 pack box then a box of 4 boosters by about $1.28 higher profit. Looking at my graph the chances of something increasing/decreasing don't consider the boxes. So if you do "Pauper" event early and get lucky enough the single common packs will go up in price but the box of them don't get affected by the "possible next day event" My graph of prices over the course of the days prove it. Same for the Legendary packs in my game due to events Based on MP of Legendary its $132.40 PROFIT for box, but the packs give me a PROFIT of $168.32.
@@MegaSmokingMonkey yeah but the boxes will almost always sell faster than the single packs bro its 32 single packs vs 4 single boxes. technical profit doesnt always matter esp when you probably dont sell a full box of single packs in a day and prices vary from day to day.
There is a shelf that costs 150 that allows you to put a lot of cards into it and you wouldn't need to restock it as much. The scent thing if you put it at the front door then it sprays them when they enter. Also if you open the box's and putting the packs up your losing money.
A single scent sprayer at the door still lets some stinkys through but if you put two order machines side by side near the entrance (some shelf and table placement can also help control pathing) it seems to clean up ~98% of them (the occasional one or two still manage to slip by every now and then).
You want to keep the shelves fully stock as much as possible because of how the game decides how many of each thing NPCs will buy, the more things on the shelf the higher the chances of NPCs buying multiple at once.
@phtevenj how did you manage that? Do the later store expansions give more room on the left side of the door? I'm only on expansion 4 but the game will not allow me to place anything near the other side of the door and they path past one and not the other when I have them 2 stacked on the right
You pay delivery on orders, so it makes sense to either stock up or only buy when multiple things are low to avoid needing to pay delivery fees every time you want something. I recommend setting aside a corner of the store just for full boxes of stuff and buying more than you need so you can load up to save on delivery.
You can hold up to seven cards in your hand a t one time. Also making sure that you stock all of the different items you are allowed to unlock helps profit. Also make sure everything is well stocked.
you can hold up to eight cards, making the table the latest event doubles (most likly more) the profit gain from them. If you open packs then sell the cards. I avarage 87 costomers a day with tables earning about 2200, stock earning 2400 and cards earning 2 to 6 thousand a day.
I'm cheesing this game right now. I sold over $50k in a day selling one item your best booster box, you just need 100% full shelves all the time, the biggest shelf holds 8 boxes!
@@astrostream_x In the game itself actually, right after opening it the roadmap is on the right (it also gets checked off when a feature is implemented like the first one already has!)
You’re lookin at the wrong number when you’re setting the price and rounding, the bottom number is your profit margin overall the rounded price above that is your rounded actual asking price
Decided to give the game a go. Played about 45 minutes the "right" way then decided to start over. I spent 250$ on card packs and started opening. Somewhere in there I picked up a 400-ish dollar card and a couple others in the 10-20$ range. Long story short, before I ever opened I was shop lv4. Hit lv10 by day 5 so I could hire the goober to work cash while I stood around opening stuff, stocking stuff... For some reason I have better luck finding rare/expensive cards in the basic packs than I do the 2nd lv (gold) packs...i
I should have known He had a spending problem from all the Roblox videos, but I too have fallen victim to the allure of card opening in a virtual space.
irl the best way to make money in a card shop on average is selling booster packs from fresh fresh or core sets (that's the most cents you'll get per unit sold). most will regularly buy handful boosters, with serious players regularly getting booster boxes, and of course the whales going for 100% completion rate with all the products that come from pre-release to post-release cycle. Depending on the game, players base and the specific card set, (remember that crunching those nerd numbers is a weird science) one can potentially identify sets that will yield more profit if you just open a booster box and sell the cards individually.
Df is playing this way better than the other TH-camrs. I’d left him cuz someone said that ages ago, he wasn’t so “thought of mind” bantering, he was like a regular TH-camr like HeroVoltsy and this guy left DF. I put this against current DF and left too, but what a silly thing I did. TH-cam is an evolving platform; of course folks change their shtick. Apologies DF. Scores of people love you here and it’s groovy. So I’m back. ✌🏾❤️👾👍🏾.
They’re not really scam boxes tbh. If you have it set to $1 or lower, and it chooses all 100, $1 cards, you’re selling $100 worth of cards for $15 lol Also the second option “cards remaining” is how many of that card you want to remain in your collection, so realistically you want that as low as possible
It'd be nice if the cards were actually a functional game, where you could build a deck and play against your regulars. Game seems like an asset flip, though, so I have low expectations.

Hi DF. I’ve watched other people play this game in this game looks very very fun. as a card collector myself I know I would find this game extremely fun.
PETITION TO MAKE DF MAKE THIS A SERIES🙏🙏
Edit: I didn’t expect this to get so many likes tysm everyone
Signed. Partially because I want to see a playlist just called NOT A SCAM.
👍
Yes, untill he gets achievment for 2.5k cards xD
Signed for sure

Dont buy boxes just to open them and sell them as card packs
This! They're worth more as boxes!

This is bizarrely satisfying to watch. The solid DF video experience plus second-hand dopamine from the opening of the card packs.

I like to run 1 item per every one of those shelves. Can get expensive but makes organizing so much easier
I’ve been watching this channel for what seems like forever, not all videos but most. And I think it’s safe to say it’s my favorite channel ever.
Hey! Just to let you know you could hold up to 7 card packs in your hand to open at once

Hopefully he sees this too
Love the mod that allows 1024 hand packs.
He is using the box!!!! It's a miracle!!!
Definitely one of the best games ever. Keep playing please!
Thank god you uploaded another Video of this Game❤
Who here wants to see “DangerouslyFunny” and “LetsGameItOut” collab!!
I agree so much is shocking.
just put a destinky machine on either side of the entrance and NEVER worry about stinkies again
It takes 2 sprays so you'd need 2 right next to eachother and hope they dont path weird
@@nekomata5198 I put one on each side where people enter so they get sprayed twice instantly

DF isn't an addict, DF can stop when every they want........just one more pack won't hurt though....
yeah, whenever *he* wants. sir.

You keep looking at the profit line and not the sell price line, that's why it's looking like rounding isn't working.
Cool video! I love this game, I hope they add a way that you can actually play tcg with your cards

You really want two sprayers at the door rather than around the shop
Gonna need a part 2 for this
Im begging for more of this content 😂

This game is not in final release, right?
@albertusaswin2012 it wasn't before but it Is now.
You can pull multiple cards out of your book at once to put on the card display thing to sell
If u just open the box u r guaranteed a full art of at least a holo also remember to use the work bench after you put ur good card
Uuh that game looks dangerously fun...
Fuck... pun wasnt even intended! I forgot which channel I was watching
when grabing cards to put on the placement thing u can grab multiple cards at once just click more and then put them down on that shelf thing
thanks for content , i love your videos
YESSSS PART 2
I've been waiting for this video
Can we get more of that gear turning game
You only need two of the auto sprayers set them right at the entrance and it takes care of everyone
I love watching you play this!! OMG I'm so far gone :)
Pack’ opening is life
34 minutes is the earliest ive been
The price going down is market price so you could buy when its down and wait then sell when high😊

this truly is addictive to watch lol i dont think i can play this one lol the pokemon pack opening tbing thats coming out is already too tempting lol

The rounding is weird because you are looking at the profit. It rounds the cost.

Selling valuable cards instead of hoarding them like a dragon ☹️
Balatro is a pretty good game you should definitely play it
The basic blue packs have given me multiple cards over $1000. The other packs have not been so generous.
DF and ImCade are basically the same person
You can put 10 packs into your hand and open them in one go.
If df had a card shop I would start collecting
if you make your shop bigger, the more likely people will spend more
