    Best comparison i have seen between Isak and Haaland is, when Manchester City is fully functional, Haaland is a better striker, he scores out of nothing, but Isak is a better all rounder, especially for someone with his height and frame and he is more involved in build up play and can play on the wing if needed

      @@jsh6322 Doesn't change the fact that without service city practically are down to 10 men. Isaak is more than just a goalscorer like he said. Can play on the wing and can drop in midfield and build up play.

      Isak is a better player than haaland but haaland is clearly one of the best finishers in world football.@@jsh6322If I want someone to pick the ball up and drive through defences I'm taking isak all day. Goals win games but that doesn't make you a better player. That's like saying sterling is better than Henry

    Ben, nobody is saying Bradley is as good as Trent. Out of the 3 contracts running out, Trent is most likely the player you can replace if one was to go because Salah is the best RW in the world and Virgil is the best defender. Trent is more replaceable in that position than Mo and Virgil. Us Liverpool fans want all 3 contracts signed obviously.

No wonder we have no good English managers when this is the mentality

  • @lloyd0006
    @lloyd0006 วันที่ผ่านมา +7

    The truth is with that Liverpool squad VS that injury depleted Spurs squad they were never going to win. So should they have parked the bus for 90 minutes and end up losing 0-3? Or do you give it a right go and lose 3-6? To Dare Is To Do? To Dare Is To Park The Bus? These are the same England fans screaming at Southgate to attack, attack attack and stop sitting back so much, dare to win! Southgate said NO and preferred defence over attack. But of all of sudden Ange is a joke of a manager for wanting to dare and attack?

    • @legoc3po450
      @legoc3po450 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      There’s a difference between parking the bus and having a defensive structure. Spurs got back into that game at 2-1 (albeit a bit luckily), and should’ve looked to keep that score line into half time, where ange could talk to them, make some tweaks and let them know they had 45 minutes to get at least 1 more back. Instead they kept that high line which allowed that little szoboszlai sink header to so easily find salah and pretty much kill any hope spurs had going into the half.
      And southgates criticism lay heavily in the fact that they had and still have one of the most talented line ups of individual players in world football but can’t/choose not to score goals, relying on 1-0 victories. Imagine if guardiolas man city played like southgates England team? You’d call for change. Sean Dyche’s Everton though, you can understand it, because they don’t have the players to play like a man city. Personnel makes a big difference when it comes to tactics, but ange sticks to his guns regardless of personnel available.
      Yes he had injuries, but work around them. If you’re going to lose, don’t let 6 go past you. Slot, for example, in the league cup played loads of the academy boys. The overall game plan was still very controlled, but you could see (especially in the midfield) that he wasn’t expecting nyoni or Morton to fill the gravenberch or szobo role. Shoe horning players into roles they’re not fit for, or setting up your team in a way that you’re not experienced enough for , is a recipe for disaster, even MORE so when that game plan disregards defense.

BUT ange needs to improve big time, learn how to switch up the style of play to fit the game being played. i love the attacking football but no team in the world can go out every week and play the same or you just get found out. city don't play the same against madrid as they play ipswich where as ange would. he is close to getting sacked imo

Always. It's crazy. He guy is the finisher. If there's nothing behind, he doesn't score. That's it. Van Nistlerooy wouldn't score if there was nothing behind him. Same with any finisher.

    Postecoglou should be sacked I think. At least given an ultimatum. It's just not good enough. He gets a lot of credit for the way he plays and how entertaining it is. Ok. But as a club you want results. Nothing else. And Tottenham doesn't have the results.

    • @haydens2351
      @haydens2351 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      And then what?
      Tottenham have a midfielder at CB and missing majority of defenders/GK. Liverpool were clutch, legit split second between onside and off, and were the better team. Tottenham have the most goals in the premier league so if they could sort out the back, they would be title contenders

      @@haydens2351 And I guess in your fantasy, Postecoglou is the one fixing everything? The same Postecoglou who improved nothing since when he first arrived. Nothing at all. They make the same exact mistakes they were doing in his first 5 games.
      And then what? You concede 5 per game and finish 11th every season, but you're happy because it's "entertaining"?

      @@romanoonamor7690 Yes, because it’s proactive football. I’ve watched enough minutes when managers of the likes of Conte and Mourinho run Tottenham as a sit deep and wait for the counter attack football. It’s dull and it got us nowhere.
      How does bringing in a new manager help? When has sacking a manager worked to transform a squad? Didn’t work with Potter at Chelsea, didn’t work with Emery at Arsenal, didn’t work with Ten Hag… You need to fix your short term attention span

      I'd change our goalkeeper for 1 thing. That goes for Pope or Dubravka. I really rate Pope and am not so bothered about the kicking thing but he doesn't seem the same this season. Maybe the injuries have been impacting him. He used to dominate the area when claiming crosses but lately he seems to be flapping at them a bit and he's not been as good at other things as usual too.
