Im thinking to go for LLM instead of GDL. Llm will qualify me for Lpc and at the same time its a masters degree and it is of almost the same duration. So the question is why should I go for a post graduate diploma where I can have a masters degree. Im currently holding a Pakistani 5 years llb hons degree.
you sure llm will qualify you for LPC? you do need to research further, LPC is outdate anyway

I wouldn’t recommend BPP.. lawyers are not lecturers. Most of them don’t have a PGCE therefore in terms of delivering the course, it might be like just a discussion class rather than teaching law.

What do you recommend I should do? Should I do the LLB of University of London from Pakistan? It will take me 2 years to complete it. With UK LLM degree in hand , you can do SQE 1 and SQE 2 Online while you are on your PSW.

i go through all the comments but could not find the answer to the question which was ought to be the part of the video. please elaborate the benefits of postgraduate diploma. if some one is a non law graduate and he does post graduate diploma in Law. what he further needs to do . which courses or tests he may need to pass for a practicing advocate . what will be required to become as a practicing wakeel or a lawyer after doing pgdL. please in detail . i go through many other videos but no one has explained this . specially talk for pakistani students.
as i read on universities websites. that a post graduate diploma in law qualifies you to become a solicitor or a barrister. so if pgdl eligibles him to ne a barrister, still will he be able to practice in courts as a lawyer/ wakeel . or its just all for a name and skills or a knowledge .
