idk if i sound biased but i liked this album more than a few of their other albums tbh. maybe bc the tracks actually feel cohesive- like upbeat for the most part except candy which also isnt a sad song/ballad like vcu usually has. in their other albums they usually go for absolutely different vibes for each song which also isnt bad or smth but this album feels like easy to listen to. i wont do that for their other albums wholly as each song has a different mood to it so i choose songs accordingly from those based on my mood. they usually make very artistically complex tts and music which i loveeee but i also like the easy-going vibe of this album, its new.
I personally love this album. I get what your saying that none of the tracks is really standing out but thats what i actually love about it its very cohesive. The sound is very disco/mignight city vibe.
I agree but as an 80s/90s kid this album bring back the feel! Like I can’t explain it but reminiscing the time my friends and I would just enjoy playing at the park. No need to lock our front door kinda vibe lol 💎 💎 💎 but yes, this album compared to all the previous albums of theirs is my least favorite.
I'm so fascinated 'cause vocal unit songs usually end up being my favorites in their albums, but for this one I liked Candy the least and surprisingly cannot stop listening to Water even though it's a genre I'm not usually into
