Love this, I do the same thing! I will be so happy when single eyeshadows become popular again (I hope they do!) for creating our own palettes.
Yeah singles are so versatile! I would be ok also of more brands made palettes like the ND midi with magnetic pans that you can rearrange
Oooh I did the same thing and it was fun. The only colors I didn't have were the two peachy/terracotta colors so I replaced them with something more pink.
I even think more pink would be cohesive with the color story 👌👌 are you using your dupe palette a lot?
@@Alicesbeautymadness All week!
Yay! I hope you do decide to follow my suggestion to keep glam to mix and match. It's not a palette i really like as a whole, but i think I'd use the shades individually with other stories that lach depth, that could benefit from some cool toned neutrals, etc. I'm also not a fan of silver shades, but through trying to hit pan on one, i learned how to use and like them!
I was hoping to get rid of glam and to used INAN to have more neutrals to be honest. But I don't think I'll get INAN now so might keep glam for now. I just really don't reach for those shadows except for 2. 🤷♀️
I always wish more brands made their palette pans removable like ND and colourpop.... Otherwise, i didn't dupe the palette, but I'm constantly thinking about palettes and shades in palettes i have which would give me the INAN look, and it's no longer an urgent need for me, even with the 20% discount i can get now...
Yes I agree. Resisting through launch day was the main thing for me, now I already seem to be more rational about it
I love it! Great dupes and beautiful colour story. These are so my type of colours so i don't think i'm the best person to tell you to not buy it lol
But i think it's a good idea to try a few looks/colour combos with your dupe palette and decide how much you really like it.
Thanks! It is definitely the responsible thing to do 😅 I'll try and see. I resisted the first day and am leaning towards not buying it for now
@@Alicesbeautymadness I think that ND's new sparkly formula is also going to kick off a new season for sparkly (topper) shadows. Makeup By Mario did it and Pat McGrath did it. I saw Urban Decay is also coming out with 2 small Moondust palettes. 1 is pastels i think and the other neutrals like Space Cowboy. That would make a great companion palette in combination with your fave neutral matttes.
I'm sure more brands will follow 🙂
Omg how do I not know of that neutral moon dust palette 😱 sounds wonderful
