Choose the Complete workspace if you want an interface similar to Photoshop. PSP 2023 comes with GPU acceleration disabled. Go in File/Preferences/scroll to reach the last options and select the box. Use the program in full screen mode to get rid of the top bar with the Home icon and recover the wasted space in the top of the monitor. For full screen mode press Shift+A. By default the program feels clunky. You need to spend some time customizing the interface and learning your way in PSP. The program deserves a big update, it's slow. Looks like hardware acceleration isn't properly used.
