no its a practice not generally continued since sanguinius took control of the legion... however during combat they can an will eat the flesh of the enemy... reason ; because like a vampire they can gauge knowledge from eating brain matter from their foe ... well documented in the heresy blood angel novel fear to tread an theres a very in depth thread to this practice during the seige of terra during Amit the fleshtearers flash backs (he is a blood angel) which takes place in the fighting pits. i wont say too much but a blood angel an a world eater fight side by side an are close brothers until the heresy when they fight against each other. side note all astartes have this ability ... however it is frowned upon as its considered distasteful

Cawl was able to reduce the instances of the expression of flaws. It was interesting to note that Primaris Blood Angels did not start succumbing to the Black Rage until assigned to their chapters.
not really and the iterator has some of this confused and is partly inaccurate the flaw became 2 fold at the end of the heresy. the red thirst was always there but was pushed to unsatiable levels due to the 500 marines wiped by ka bandha with a single blow.... the psi backlash threw the legion into pure blood lust which is hard to control. the black rage only came to being after the heresy due to sanguinius's death as the psi backlash from his death was/is visially replayed in the minds an eye of the legionaire effected this usually happens before the battle as the antisipation grows. i recommend reading fear to tread an this will go some way to giving you an idea on this subject
1 of the things that kinda kill me about GW and their writers (mainly the book writers), is the fact that they are ALL OVER THE PLACE when it comes to numbers! To a ridiculous degree!!! Like some battles are ridiculously over numbered and some are beyond under numbered! But then also the fact how how much time in between things are beyond ridiculous also! “Really?!? So you’re telling me NO ONE wanted to maybe appoint a new leader for A FEW YEARS after last contest”?!? Not to mention just in the HH (30k) the time in between battles and from when they left 1 planet and finally arrived at another is beyond long! To the point where it feels like nothing happened for years at a time and that was the only reason why it lasted so long!?! I don’t know…… it’s not really a big deal to me since I don’t read any of the books anymore (mainly because some of the basics that I need to know, I don’t and I’ve never seen anywhere where it’s explained!?! And I’ve asked many times and still have never gotten a answer)! But I do enjoy watching and/or listening to these lore videos!!! I just wish they was shows and movies on this stuff (which it doesn’t even need to be live action!!! Anime would be great! Even cartoon would still be better than nothing! And even more so better than allowing “Woke Hollywood” to take control of it)!?!
Fully agree. Units are pretty small if you talk about global warfare. Especially the imperial guard should be in the billions to float a battlefield with bodies. Same with tyranides and orcs. Anime would be awesome, I don't trust western culture to create the grim dark world with a touch of humour that is needed to pull it of.

I’m a fan of 40k lore but I see that there’s way too much blond hair, blue eyed, white supremacy representation in the overall lore… The Blood Angels are only considered “beautiful” because they’re all white, even though there are beautiful people of all ethnicities. The writers rather push the idea that blonde hair & blue eyes is the most beautiful… 40k is really a futuristic re-imagining of Hitlers 3rd rike … The 40k authors damn near writes other races out of their fictional future by making most “heros” & factions majority or entirely white … Even the Emperor of Man looks like he’s supposed to represent the white man as a blond haired god, who’s worshipped through gothic Roman Catholicism symbolism… Really, there’s no other religions that survived into the grim dark future?…No…Only Roman Catholicism & the image of the white man as god, survived. I’m not watching this past the 37mins of attention that I’ve already given to the video. Blood Angels are the most trash faction, as far as their origins & description goes…A bunch of boy band looking white guys who drink their enemies blood.
