This video was so helpful. I went to Michael’s buying stamps but not a block (bc I didn’t realize I would need that) and I went home and my mom was like “how you going to stamp it on?” 🤦🏾♀️ so i had to figure out what to use for the stamps and found this video! Thank you so much
Heeeeey! That michaels Recollections stamp set is what I literally just bought today! (I just opened it and going nuts with them already, so far I'm using the money icon and the movie icon) I like it.
very helpful. im thinking about getting some stamps with functional icons to save money from buying stickers. thanks for you suggestions and comparisons.
I wish I had stamps back when I went to a school that required you to have a planner, I got so good at doodling all my keys for different lessons. The planner had to be the schools one and if you didn't have it or defaced it to badly you got detention but it literally has made bullet journaling and planners, in general, easier for me.
I've searched your etsy shop and blog and can't find an SVG for the planner stencil you made. Am I missing it? or did you not post it anywhere? I know this video is old. Just checking. I've tried creating my own without luck. I'm awful at measuring things correctly I have a lot of stencils but all seem to have like 2 things on each I use and I hate carrying it all around. Love the shapes you used
Get a Versamark cube and load your stamp with that ink before loading it with the stamping ink, I do it with all my clear stamps when I'm not using pigment inks. Also the best ink to use for words are Versafine.
nice one Mo been wanting the micheal's one to go with my collection since i saw it but haven't really been there to get them. OH!, finally did my first circuit stickers not hard at all
Help! At 12:18 you showed a Studio L2E stamp Im looking for but can't find. Do you have a exact name. I cant find it anywhere. Is it possible there not Studio L2E? Thanks soooooo much!
you know what I think I misspoke, I think those are studio calico! I just looked on the site though and can't find them! I'm pretty sure they were studio calico though and not studio L2E...sorry :(
Thanks for the eraser tip; I was finding my new Recollections stamps to not be picking up ink just as you described. I also thought those Recollections numbers were sub-par and I am so glad to know it wasn't just me! I guess I always assume I'm doing something wrong or I got a bad batch. And P.S.: My "boingy" word is "smooshy"! LoL
Yeah they weren't the best...but you know I'm tempted to try the ones they released with their new stuff! I am a sucker for 'maybe they improved' lol. Thanks for watching :)
Hi! thanks so much -- I was so desperately looking for tiny planner stamps - and just ordered from Marion Smith! I have been a stamper for a little while now -- you shouldn't need to use an eraser not he photopolymer stamps -- and what works really well not he acrylic stamps (recollections) is a fine nail file :)
Oh, thank you for sharing!! I'm new to stamping and after watching some videos the eraser seemed to help. Thanks for the advise! I'll be sure to try next time I get some new stamps in. Thanks for watching :)
This insert was customized from this one in my shop :: www.etsy.com/listing/268089255/personal-size-divided-weekly-checklist?ref=shop_home_active_24 Since my tasks may differ from other's tasks, I currently sell the blank ones so that you may fill in what you need. Hope that helps!
I think they are gone!! They may have been discontinued or something :( so sad!! That's why I put the link to the main site with the disclaimer since I couldn't find them. It is a shame because I do love them :( :( :(
If you mentioned this in the beginning of the vid I apologize- I didn’t get to watch it all on the same day, but could you tell me what inserts you’re using? I’m assuming it’s a downloadable pdf. Thanks!
Lol you like the technical term 😂 I have tried that! For me though I can't master the pressure. If I push too hard I get the halo but if I push too light it's blotchy. The smaller surface area - like with the numbers - makes it harder. But the bigger ones at the top are a bit easier 👍🏼 thanks for watching!
I think you might be right! When I went to link them I couldn't find it! That's why I just put the main link with a disclaimer under it bc I didn't see them. So sad!
I couldn't find a link to those planner stamps any longer - as far as I know she's not selling from her site any more and its super hard to search for her stuff on amazon. I'm sorry :(
I told myself I wasn't buying any more planner stuff..just went on a stamp frinzy between Michaels & Hobby Lobby..oh God!! Moe..is that Ur complete collection?tfs
as of right now it is lol. I haven't bought stamps in a long while....I do have a stamp collection video, but I added the Marion Smith Stamps and the Studio l2e stamps since then lol. Thanks for watching :)
I will try that. I think my main problem is I can't get the pressure even because they are so 'springy'. Thanks for the tip though, I will keep that in mind! I'm loving how everyone is sharing stamping tips, i'm still new! :)
I love how you mixed using stencils with the stamps. So creative.

No problem! I love planner stamps...they are so versatile! They also save space in a small planner like the Mini Happy Planner. Thanks for watching.
Very true Pauline...same thoughts..

You are too clever for words! I have learned so much from watching your videos. Thank you.
Thank you for watching!! I am glad my videos are helping you. :)

Thank you for sharing your videos

Moe Howard Is there a way you could look at them to tell me a name maybe? I'm very bummed.
where did you get the small plastic container to put your stamps into?
You can find the photo cases at Micheal's or Joann's, I've even found them at places like Meijer or Walmart!

Do you still have your Etsy shop?
Thank you for your videos.
Cant get Marion Smith Designs links to work? Can you supply link. Thx
I think that site no longer sells anything :( i've found some stuff on amazon....but not the stamps :(
Where did you order your stamp pads?
I think I might have gotten them from Joanne's or even online from Amazon...
What is the name of the ink?
Where did you get that stencil from? Or how did you make it?
There is a video on my Channel called How to Make A Planner Stencil using Cricut Explore. Hope that helps :)

Same here! I picked one up the other day and figured that even if the stamp isn't great, it at least has a stencil sheet with it :D

Where can I get the social media planner insert you used as scrap paper?
This insert was customized from this one in my shop :: www.etsy.com/listing/268089255/personal-size-divided-weekly-checklist?ref=shop_home_active_24

I can't find the Marion smith stamps. I follow the link & search and nothing 😟

yep the inserts are from my printables shop - fivesixteenthsdesigns on etsy :)
For the "boingy" ones😏, have you tried inverting your stamp and dabbing with ink pad?
Lol you like the technical term 😂 I have tried that! For me though I can't master the pressure. If I push too hard I get the halo but if I push too light it's blotchy. The smaller surface area - like with the numbers - makes it harder. But the bigger ones at the top are a bit easier 👍🏼 thanks for watching!
Are you going to sale the stencil in your etsy shop?
Unfortunately I am not. There is a video on my channel on how to make one though. Thanks for watching!
I think those Marion Smith stamps have been discontinued.... they are no longer on her site or on Amazon.
I think you might be right! When I went to link them I couldn't find it! That's why I just put the main link with a disclaimer under it bc I didn't see them. So sad!
Where are the links? I cannot find Maryann Smith?
I couldn't find a link to those planner stamps any longer - as far as I know she's not selling from her site any more and its super hard to search for her stuff on amazon. I'm sorry :(

Love the idea of the alpha letters with washi tape!!! Thanks for the video....
Hope it helps! Thank you for watching :)
A tip for the recollection ones is to file them before inking them
I will try that. I think my main problem is I can't get the pressure even because they are so 'springy'. Thanks for the tip though, I will keep that in mind! I'm loving how everyone is sharing stamping tips, i'm still new! :)
Moe Howard no problem :) I love the planner community as well!
