compared to rogue, mage was a more difficult start especially until you get decent knife+orb combinations and until you get a companion with taunt by level 15-20 though mage felt pretty good
someone on reddit did a full write-up linked in the description, but basically the core is maw of the black city unique ring plus one of the amulets that restores 25 mana on crit; here it’s crow’s perch
i’m losing a decent amount of health but I’m healing it in this video with bellara’s auto-heal and active heal. the damage from the ring is mitigated by defense and resistance so it’s not always a true 20%
The dagger that makes Arcane Bombs crit also count as a crit with your dagger attack, applying your orb debuff. Really loved this build, tons of great synergy and item options.
Wow! You are good. I just started my Mage gameplay, and it look hard. Playing a mage is not easy for me.

@ Thanks! Yeah every one attacking you at ones can be very frustrating lol. A companion with a taunt is a must.
