I’m fully confident an elite processor like purdy turning into a tunneling qb over one offseason has absolutely nothing to do with him and everything to do with Kyle Shanahan. You can compare clips from first 2 yrs to this yr and see him go from super quick full field reads to never moving his helmet stripe. KS has micromanaged Purdy’s greatest strength out of his game. Not to mention his playbook is so tired and downloaded that any defense that plays against us looks great. Disgusting year…
Ironically Kyle Shanahan doesn’t agree lol in two post game interviews he basically said it wasn’t a bad read the receiver was hit on the route got slowed down and if anything he wished he didn’t call it. @Tanyewes That would be a waste of draft capital. We have other needs that QB. We need O-Line help, D-Line help, a new Corner next year, another running back... sadly, and probably another receiver.
And truthfully we need another quarterback. We need to relinquish so much control from Shanahan because his drafting decisions have been terrible. Trading decisions and not paying and keeping players like Buckner and Azeez and other depth players were costly. And never addressing the offensive line. That trying to just scheme with a below average line is insane. And Shanahan doesn’t run the ball enough when the actual game determines he should… he’s an offensive coordinator and not a coach ….
The Head Coach must be able to adapt to the players he has! Where are the 2 second (or less) passes. Screens, play action, etc! Where is the deception? The opponents know the 49ers are coming at them with the "outside zone plays"! Why so many "slow developing" plays on short yardage that rely on elite level blocking when most of the Offensive Line is not "elite". Would a 280 pound fullback/guard we better than Juice? Where is the second Tight End that can catch a pass or block - another slimmed down, in shape, guard could do as well. Kittle is as good pattern runner, but he could learn something from Travis Kelly on how to find the open zone for the quick pass. Without Brandon, the wide receivers do not have the speed or pattern running ability to beat the defensive backs. The game against the Rams looked like a "force the ball to Debo" game. Didn't work! Pearsall has been a non-factor. Not making Pearsall a "threat" is a coaching problem, not a Purdy problem. Where is John Lynch in providing better talent after injuries and after the limitations of the existing players becomes blatantly obvious? All of "franchise" problems cannot be fixed this year or probably even next year.
We all know where Brocks #1 is, sitting at home. His #2 hasn’t done anything all season. He’s made his #3 look like an all pro, and his #4 is a rookie that got shot. How good was Stafford when everyone was missing? Still, I wouldn’t pay him 60 million. Probably not 50. Take some back loaded deal that makes it sound great but will be restructured in the future if need be and be done with it. 👍🏼
Brock is the player talking heads love to hate. They look at game where it snowed 6 inches and one where it rained most of the game. 49ers O Line is bottom third without Trent. Why doesn't anyone compare the QB's in that game. Stafford (possible hall of famer) only threw for 18 more yards than Purdy, Niners had 4 drops(Debo touchdown) to Ram's none and Ram's also had no touchdowns. Didn't Stafford also throw 3 if not 4 balls right into DB's hands but all were dropped but the one mistake Purdy made which was a hell of a catch by the DB, is made to be career ending. Ram's also had there starting receivers and running backs, SF?
Hey Chase Daniels, you have a great 👍 show. You can talk from experience and that's why I listen to you 😀. You actually played football 🏈. The people who don't play sports are hard to listen to.
That’s why we should have kept Trey! All those wasted picks! Kyle needs to develop a QB and then tailor his offense to their talents! Once A. Reid figured it out with Mahommes, SB wins start pouring in!
Can Purdy win with a good team and not a great team is what the real question is. U can’t pay everyone if Purdy is getting paid. No problem paying Purdy but he has to uplift the team somewhere. So pay Purdy and have no OL.. or pay Purdy and have marginal WR but a good OL. Somewhere will suffer. Expect 49ers to be good but not SB contenders. Window has closed. To many bad contracts also with Trent Williams and CMC and Deebo.
Not relative to the other team's QBs in similar circumstances, or even the same games. Stafford looked terrible too, he just happened to get away from his mistakes. Mcvay literally took the ball out of his hands to have to win the game.
Actually there’s nothing special about throwing in the middle of the field it’s the easiest throw for a quarterback throwing outside the numbers is what makes a great passer
Purdy is too small to see ver the line and too weak to rifle the ball downfield, this off season will make of progress break the Niners for years to come, those wasted first round picks on Pearsall and Trey are a massive challenge.
I don’t get your video. You say he “might” be the problem, then go show dropped passes and a terrible offensive line. Yeah, he made some bad throws. @@nxtro3882 It’s advanced analytics stats. I’ve heard it too, I’m not sure on the source. Watching them though, many times the receivers just aren’t getting open in man at all.
@@ChaseDanielShowif it’s not coaching then could it possibly be the qb?
Do you ever think that Brock isn't playing well when Kyle pulls his strings to hard and forces him to play his way... When Purdy cuts loose he looks good and gets in the zone, you can tell when Shanahan is too involved and Purdy gets in his own way cause he can do his style.
Huh? Shanahan as the play caller is getting too involved? Do you think it's 1974 and Purdy calls his own game?
@@whiskeykilmer1866I think he means when they clearly are trying to force the ball to certain players, like Deebo.
I’m a 9ers fan but I hope we don’t pay Brock period. He deserves every penny he gets! But I hope it’s with another team. He is a good QB but his lack of arm strength and ability to play in inclement weather should be a deal breaker. I hate the “it can be worse” reason to keep somebody. We could find a star too! Brock can’t improve what he lacks and that’s the problem. So it’s not about money to me. It’s about finding our Josh, Pat or Lamar… none were top 5 draft picks FYI
Disgusting year…
He can't see over the middle of the line without a clean throwing lane
he's 6'1"
9ers had 4 butter finger plays that cost them. Purdy int, 2 dropped int, deebo dropped td down the middle.
Season ending pick was inexcusable. He won’t be replaced next year but they sure are looking at all the options in the next two drafts.
Ironically Kyle Shanahan doesn’t agree lol in two post game interviews he basically said it wasn’t a bad read the receiver was hit on the route got slowed down and if anything he wished he didn’t call it. Purdy took the blame for it though but he does that so I don’t know. I honestly think missing Pearsall was worse than the interception.
@@binalip1669they’re both bad game changing decisions/executions. He needs to be better. The whole team needs to be better. Too many mistakes and missed opportunities across the board this season.
@@shannonpeacock3509 yeah that’s my take too this team just wasn’t good enough this year and weaknesses got exploited and the vibes were not great. They lost as a team everyone points to this throw that drop or missed tackle but it was problems up and down the roster no one played consistently well all season they need to rally and regroup
@Tanyewes That would be a waste of draft capital. We have other needs that QB. We need O-Line help, D-Line help, a new Corner next year, another running back... sadly, and probably another receiver.
They need to invest in o line
And truthfully we need another quarterback. We need to relinquish so much control from Shanahan because his drafting decisions have been terrible. Trading decisions and not paying and keeping players like Buckner and Azeez and other depth players were costly. And never addressing the offensive line. That trying to just scheme with a below average line is insane. And Shanahan doesn’t run the ball enough when the actual game determines he should… he’s an offensive coordinator and not a coach ….
Purdy is so short that he has to jump to throw over the o-line...lmao.
He was pressured on 65% of his passes. All year long problem.
I appreciate you, man!
That’s why we should have kept Trey! All those wasted picks! Kyle needs to develop a QB and then tailor his offense to their talents! Once A. Reid figured it out with Mahommes, SB wins start pouring in!
I have a strange theory about what's going on with Brock.
He got married earlier this year and I think his concentration is off because of it.
Special ha 😂there was no one near kittle come on man..
Brock is good. Bet on that when he has the kids. Otherwise no.
A Purdy apologist video
Hasn't Brock had some problems in other bad weather games? 🤡
It isn't easy for all QBs...there are certain QBs who literally can't throw over the middle. And layered throws between LBs and DBs aren't easy.
Factually incorrect. So, Kyler Murray and Russell Wilson are, or have been the best passers in the league?
I love it when mediocre players leave the nfl and then critique players that are far better than them
As opposed to people like you and I that never played in the league? Glass house, stud 😂
@@zackhurwitz9441 - Truer words right here 😂😂
Nice!
Does he need to be perfect for them to have a chance?
How much slack does the rest of the team get? Deebo is washed out. Can’t run. Can’t separate. Sure as cand’t catch. Team is #32 in YAC. OLine gives him a full second before he has to fear for his life. His defense drops what, 2 clear INTs?
Yet somehow the problem is him?
For christ sake it's NOT purdy which is the problem. he has a crap offensive line ANY QB would struggle with that line even Mahomes....Give the guy a break for god sake!!
No not after you praise him when a lot of us seen he can't play in bad weather that's football if you can't do that don't play
Purdy can’t see over the offensive line. The other problem is he can’t identify a blitz to save his life. Fans blame it on the offensive line but the QB has to help in protection too.
cool but not true
2 players would start for other teams on the offensive line on other teams. One of them was hurt, with Williams being out and Puni had a bad game.
In Shanahan's system the center controls the protection schemes the QB doesn't.
Deebo is pathetic
Broke purdy garoppolo jr is str8 garbage now that the defense can't bail him out every game
Brock purdy is the problem he had people open right in front of him and throws interception an he does this all the time and shanahan want take him out we will never win big games.
This dude have a lot of bad games he sucks
They should just cut him. I'm tired of the QB discourse.
Yeah, let's just cut a very good qb and sign backups and play them. Then you can be happy with the qb situation.
😂 what?
@@gman8177 I don't want Brock gone. I'm just tired of all the debates surrounding Brock. And if any QB can do what he does in Kyle's offense than it shouldn't matter.
@strawberryreacts9585 that's your problem....not any qb can do what Brock does. You've forgotten what we were before Brock and Jimmy G.
@@gman8177 haven't forgotten at all...that was more a dig at those who say anyone can do what Brock does.
shouldn't that interception be PI though? a borderline call but the corner ran into Jennings, slowing him up and enabling him to get the interception
Purdy isn’t a franchise quarterback he a short term answer he will never win a superbowl for niner
Very easy to attack a person when the team is struggling. Keep that same energy next year. Fact is this is one season out of 4 that he hasn't taken them to the Championship game or Super Bowl.
