DO NOT DO KABOOM WITHOUT SPECIAL TRAINING!! I do trampoline like professional trampoline and the amount of kids that get hurt while doing kaboom is something els!! They even banned it at my gym🤷🏼♀️
Kabooms are not dangerous at all what? They are about as dangerous as a pullover lol. If it's really a problem just slide a mat under whatever kids doing it. And don't do it SUPER high. Banning It is way over the top , that's just limiting kids abilities to learn a new skill...
@@NotGemma. Same goes for every other flip, what? You can get injured really badly from any skill if done incorrectly, I mean hey it's not my gym but I think banning skills entirely like that makes no actual sense, then nobody will learn how to do them. The sport is about progression and evolution. But hey, again, not my gym . Also a kaboom isn't even a full flip since you're starting from your back so you actually have less flip to make around than just a regular ol backflip making it arguably safer
@@x.1751 its just because, their feet didnt land together when they did the backdrop so they kinda went to the side and then they land on the springs (keep in mind they are like 7) so they’re not going to listen,
Essentially. The heel tap is what generates all of your momentum on a kaboom whereas a pullover all of the momentum is generated by the pulling motion of your legs. Kabooms are much easier to double once you get to that level.
These are the basic starting flips beginners learn, the only things they teach you before this are backdrops, belly drops, and sear drops. (Obviously the double backflip part at the end is a joke)
Practicing backwards rolls from standing on trampoline and ground usually helps a lot. Also practicing just jumping to your back on trampoline is a great.
Wow the last one is easier than breathing

Thanks my son now has a broken neck 😅
😮, I hope your joking
Oh no... are you for real?

Really 🤔
Like if someone saw a minion
I can double on a trampoline but not on ground yet.
What’s the difference between kaboom and pullover?
Kaboom you tuck more
Heels on trampoline and then pulling it over
You whack your heels on the tramp
You slam your feet into the tramp in kaboom

I thought I invented the first one nooo! I called it a backfleep 😭😭😭
Ezay💀
I used the kaboom and double backflip to learn a normal backflip
So the kaboom is literally a pullover but with a heel slap (more momentum?)

It isn't easy as it seems to be🥲
True, it does take a bit of practice
i have been doing number 4 for like 3 yrs and its pretty ease
Yeah it’s a great skill to have. It helps a lot when learning how to back twist
I used to be able to do a pullover, but i didn't make it all the way backwards, and i really hurt my neck doing so. How do i get over the fear?

@chrisdoesflips I alr did it but ty anyways!!
I recommend going over a shoulder and then slowly get more and more over the neck
You also wanna get as much bounce as possible of your back
