    The Avantree 'Bluetooth' Neck Speaker is great on the hot fly swarming days in the bush.
    It doesn't get in the way of the fly net like the headphones.
    keep swinging. :)

    The good vibes from your happy vid today had me guessing the weight as 2.8grams. Exactly half way from yours. Well done. Ear phones, and then in-ear buds worked well for me, then JP and his speaker systems converted most to that hearing method, i tried them all, but finally settled back to ear buds after much testing. I also settled on "silent running" that is, no threshold, it works best for me. Its important to settle on your individual hearing system, as we detect with our ears and not our eyes. Really enjoyed todays vid, your vibes were infectious, thanks for takeing me along with you☺☺☺

    Why don't you wear gloves when you are using a hammer and chisel. Also when you're using the pick for an extended length of time. I saw you in a video smashing your thumb with a geologist's hammer and getting blisters on your hands from swinging a pick. So invest in a pair of gloves. There are some really nice available for all kinds of work. Now if I lived in Australia I would be out there with you even if I am 78 years old. Thanks for the videos. Allows me to live vicariously The adventurous life I'm searching for gold with a metal detector. Here in California all I find is pop tops and old beer cans.

    Fantastic, did you show us the scar, I didn't see the scar, went out today and had to reverse out of a boggy wet patch still, over here, it is the wettest dry season I have ever seen, I have to replace the hydraulic pump on the backhoe so I can complete repairing the tracks for tourist season, only got a few .22 cartridges and other rubbish today, I am starting to get a bit annoyed with the lack of gold so hopefully during the next week I might hit the jackpot. Have a good week. Leon

Very pleased to see you were wearing your fly screen as you don't need those buggers getting into your eyes and infecting them. had that happen as a kid in the bush effing things lol. Great idea with the neck speaker and it fits perfectly under the collar. Glad your finger is much better I suggest you wear some gloves for awhile mate with all that dirt about. Okay you have a super fantastic week finding lots of gold especially with the prices of it up over $3k an ounce AUD see you next Sunday with any luck stay safe and stay alert lol.

      @@OutbackGoldFever that's for sure with getting serious and as for the knife I made you that should not slip. After awhile it will need a go over a steel then a light strop on a 2 sided leather strop. High carbon steel will stain as well...

    Hey Krissy - Thanks for all your great videos.
    I have a couple of questions about your new neck speaker system- do you plug a blue-tooth system into your detector to send signals to the speakers? Or does the 6000 have something built in?
    I have a SDC and the 7000 and would like to try the neck speakers on them if possible?
    Thanks again for all your hard work providing TH-cam videos for us to enjoy!

    • @OutbackGoldFever
      @OutbackGoldFever  ปีที่แล้ว

      The 6000 has Bluetooth inbuilt so it easily connects. The 7000 has a different chip and only connects to the wm12 as far as I know, pretty sure it’s the same with the sdc.

    The neck speaker looks pretty handy. I'm curious what battery type so will look it up.
