If you go to a veterinary office, they often have large scale models of fleas and other common parasites, I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you snagged a mould
I just did a quick Google search. I think you might also be able to download 3D models of fleas, if you wanted to go the 3D printing route. Make a bunch of fleas, in whatever size you please.
I have an army of “daemons at arms” that are nurgle demons converted to look like knights and men at arms. They’re all conversions (only on a technicality for the nurglings) and I got the inspiration from the Nurgle Diaries
I watched the whole video and I still have absolutely no idea what you're up to over there. I love it Trent, don't ever stop. #FungusGiant P.S. don't worry I won't tell PETA what you did to that bear.
The circus approach is really interesting, glad you'll focus on that ! On that subject, I'd suggest having some sort of "predigi... magician guy" followed by two other models : two boxes containing the halves of the volunteer he just sawed up, walking around on their hands and feets respectively. Keep up the amazing/gross work !
See normally its 2 different people in the box but because its nurgle it can literally be a guy thats been chopped in half with their entrails dangling out of the box... thats a truly brilliant idea, good sir.
Great thing about circus' theme for me is the freak show spectacles where random deformities are stored in tanks of formaldehyde. Flip it and you can put normal things floating in clear resin and plastic tubes and the nurglites can gawk at them. Means no more cages at least.
The thin I like about your videos compared to a lot of other creators is it makes me feel okay, normal, even, when I try to make something and I get halfway into it and go, "Oh. That didn't turn out at ALL. ...But you know what I COULD do?" So many other creators come at you like, "I have this perfect vision and perfect execution and you should, too."
Something about your videos always make me want to grab my unfinished projects again. it can feel overwhelming to think about all the things I *want* to do, but that goes away whenever I watch you craft. Thank you for that :)
*Me:* Wow, that jumper looks a little warm for summer. *Also me:* Trent lives in the magical underworld of upside-down; it's winter there, stupid *O_o*
Gads, absolutely loving it as always! Another Circus-themed idea for ya here; The Nurgle Cannon ala the 'human cannonball' but (in classic Nurgle fashion) rather than it being a thing shot out of the cannon, it IS the cannon, a living one which eats debris/flak and then regurgitates it at lethal velocity from its muscular horrible fleshtube of a maw. Y'know, as one does.
You could probably simplify the cages using the baskets that berries come in. Cut them up and glue them however you want them. It'd speed up the process, anyway...
Your videos are some of my favorite on TH-cam. The way you take us through your creative process and show us how you come up with ideas is awesome. Also, fearlessly diving into modifying things you've already done when you know you can do better. *chef's kiss*
I can watch other TH-camrs and generally follow their thought process and creative style. I have absolutely no idea what you're going to do next but I'm always 100% here for it. This channel is just so unique and wholesome, I love it. Keep being awesome Trent!
Every single one of your videos has such a laid back relaxed tone to it no matter what you are talking through! Love the piece by piece updates and vlogs! - Foster
Wow don't know how I missed this video. That Clown mask for the great unclean one is perfect. Cool to see the circus nurgle army back. Great stuff. Can I please suggest a party hat with a big pom pom, frilly collar and chains for the gorilla. Can't wait for the next one!
Aaaah, I weep at changing the face on the customized Great Old One! Not that your change is bad, but i want that model so bad, so I would never change anything with it, if I got my fingers on it XD
I think a cool thing to add visual interest is to have balloons coming out of some models. Not so much them holding them, but the balloon strings are connected to their backs with hooks digging into their flesh. I think that’d be cool for the great unclean one or even with models that are meant to be flying
The title of this video kinda worried me a bit at first. I thought the title meant that you weren't going to finish the Nurgle Circus. However, it just meant that you weren't gonna make the separate Chaos Ogres, but instead, incorporate them into the Nurgle Circus! I'm kinda happy you're continuing with these guys. I really like these videos, and I can't wait to see this army in its entirety. I love the surreal nature of some of the models as well, really reminds me of the Apostles from Berserk, but with a nice, rotten Grand-Papa Nurgle Twist! I wish you the best of luck with the rest of this surreal journey!
How about a unit of Hall of Mirrors Horrors? Creatures warped like the reflections in Hall of Mirrors' mirrors. Thank you for another fun, freewheeling and f'ing well filmed video.
The cage looks great but definitely seemed to take you a long time. What if or the other animals you had them chained to their platforms? Some jewelry chain and green stuff shackles could look good fit the theme, and save you a lot of time. Best of luck!
Better for the circus theme than trolls, too - strongmen, carnival types, and the like in a kind of grisly and grotesques tableau of carnie aesthetics.
Always enjoying your videos and the things you make are rad. I could be wrong, but I think the word for objects you are calling "sketches" is "maquette."
I can wait to see that tarmukhan conversion, though I think that his head should be a bit bigger and should have a distended jaw, Keep up the awesome work!!!
Speaking of a circus theme, I made my poxwalkers have pale white skin (like a clown), bright red trousers (also like a clown) and icy blue horns and spikes (like the paint of a clown)
The Great Unclown One is my favourite model in this series now.
LOVE that name
A flea circus might be a interesting addition and would fit the Nurgel theme.
If you go to a veterinary office, they often have large scale models of fleas and other common parasites, I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you snagged a mould
Whhhhat, actually!? I'll investigate
@@Miscast If not them, then a university entomology program

PETA is a pretty sketchy organization anyway, with weird ideas about how to handle animals (and public relations).
The circus approach is really interesting, glad you'll focus on that !

yes, love that idea!

exactly the type of gross yet fantastical design that would fit amazingly into a nurgle army! i might steal this myself lol

'Ogres for hire' Immediately brought the old maneaters to mind - love it!
If you are going to make a more circus themed, then you could create a nurgle riding a unicycle
This was just watching a mad scientist in his lab. Nothing to see here... XD You always leave me inspired and giggling... I love your vids.
when he took the saw to the Greater Deamon of Nurgle I screamed "NO!' out loud lol.
Something about your videos always make me want to grab my unfinished projects again. it can feel overwhelming to think about all the things I *want* to do, but that goes away whenever I watch you craft. Thank you for that :)

Oh my goodness, wasn't expecting you to mention my comment!
All gushing aside, I can't wait to see what comes out of this project!
Chaos energy, love it. Also that G.U.O. clown is amazing!

Interesting idea! I'll have a look.
“I’m not starting a New Warhammer Army lol” famous last words
With how shitty GW's behaviour has been lately, that might just prove to be true from now on, at least for me.
It's technically not a new army if its got a uniform colour scheme.
This cinematography is outstanding. I love all of this!
A Human cannonball? Unicycle cavalry? Whatever you make in that circus style is amazing lol.

@@Miscast pssssh
I love the gentle sigh followed by sawing the face off the Nurgle prince. Definitely a shared experience
Don’t worry about having a theme for every episode. We’re all happy to just sit back, laugh with you, and watch you make stuff
I'm not happy often, but every time you upload I get immense joy from watching you and your creativity

Love the sculpted faces 😍
Love this dude, the weird and wonderful things he makes and paints is really inspiring. Wish I had that talent, bravo
that little boar cart would make a great harbinger of decay. maybe with a couple nurglings on the cart
5:50-6:10 is about 80% of my crafting process
I’m so happy the nurgle diaries are back! Always so inspiring
Everytime I see a new video I smile because I know my day is about to get filled with chill creative vibes
Loving it. May I suggest a knife thrower with 'lovely' assistant, but the knives are stuck in the thrower.
I love these vlogs they feel so beautiful and like they flow the way your process does
Wow don't know how I missed this video.
That Clown mask for the great unclean one is perfect.

You should use a respirator when filing resin. I don't use one but you guys should. Better if you use one in every step that involves resin.

Another awesome video! Inspiring as always! Maybe I'll try a nurgle gaslands mashup on my channel 🤔
wow going to be the coolest warhammer army on the planet when finished so glad you have taken this new directiong with it pure perfection
Loving that "crescendo" at the beginning!! Btw great great video as always, this is getting weirder and weirder and I love it 😍
The masked ogre at the end reminds me of little nightmares
That bear cage kinda reminds me of those live-capture mousetrap cages.
I guess those are probably way too big to use them for minis.
You could use some styrene tube for the other cages instead of using actual wire. That would probably be a lot easier.
What am I even watching? What is happening? ... I dunno, but I like it! 😀
Another fantastic vlog, I love the new content and I'll be so happy to see more
love about everything in you vids! i always look forward to what crazy shit you come up with
its so inspiring.
Glad I'm not the only questioning how to paint through a cage
aos also has some ogre mercs, I am going to team them up with stormcast for my cities army and proxy the stormcast
I love how this dude ain't afraid to remodel around his stuff.

For cages, Google Diawa Square feeder (for carp fishing) might work well as a premade cage, or what a out 3d printing?
oooo clever! thank you
The madness continues!!

that's such a badass idea I can't thank you enough
@@Miscast To quote you, "You know when the idea of doing something is way more fun than actually doing it?" 😋
Man I was just waiting for you to take the bear out through the whole thing to show it wasn't glued in there

I would love to see the composition of the army, like what units and everything
i really enjoy your videos mr Miscast!! please give us more
I love that your turntable is a skateboard truck! :p
your videos make me feel, what do i call it... ah, i know, 'cozy', that's the word, your videos make me feel cozy
I need to start making it to the painting nights haha
That cage is marvelous!
This is very good, Nurgle blessed you.
The Nurgle diaries are back BAYBEEEE
Still loving the more relaxed vlog style!
Great video, mate. I always get so inspired by your stuff :)
Those sculpted faces have a lot behelit from Berserk vibes. Be safe man. ☠️
Well, chaos trolls are a thing so you could use the ogres for that as well. Your vlogs are awesome and it is just a joy to watch you create!

Too bad Bile Troggoths aren't legal in AOS anymore

Nurgle diaries is as good as a series on like netflix haha
*They always come back to Nurgle*
how about making the one bear on the ball balancing on a big eyeball? :D
seeing those huge wheels had me SURE we'd see a bear on a unicycle, alas, it is not for now!
Love it all! Thanks
The Rakdos diaries.
Very nice! I personally weren't a fan pf the mask at the end, but it looks perfectly ridicoulous.
That notebook button would work for gloomspite gitz as well as its a moon
I appreciate that you have a full head of hair and therefore forego the need to wear a beanie! It gives you an edge over your competitors!
A circus train or somthing like that would be cool

Cool Nurgle miniatures
Getting into the Carnival of Chaos, time for some Mordehiem.

YES. The best army is back.

what if you make the boar cart more carnaval like by the cart being filled with clown parts?
please more nurgle diaries!!
Yes, to the first sentence
During the whole process i was always thinking "how will that dude paint that bear afterwards?"
I expect a great solution from you Miscast

Im spending the day making models because I watched this.
You're such a great painter.
Bro I *NEED* to see a match with these models
Why don’t you have the larger model monsters on leashes?
