I feel bad for the guy because apparently his brother passed away during that series (which probably messed him up a bit) and now he just got fired. I’m praying for Coach Bud

He is a one hit wonder coach same goes to Nick Nurse. He has the greatest player on Earth for like 5 years and he only managed to have 1 chip? Phil Jackson, Gregg Popovich, Erik Speolstra, Steve Kerr all of them successfully have at least a repeat when they have the best player in the NBA.

Na bruh coach Bud has been ass for years. Whenever I watch the bucks in the playoffs all I can see is a team that plays the exact same way no matter who they're playing. It's a super outdated way of coaching. "Oh this worked all year for us we don't need to adjust we just need to play our style of basketball" smh super glad he got fired and they'll be so much better because of this

I’d probably agree with that. Bud has has a history of being a great regular season coach, yet kind of a helter skelter in the playoffs, where his inability to change his strategies has eventually cost him in the long run. The last play of OT vs. Miami? Same thing. Every damn coach would’ve called time out, instead of going clueless in the waning seconds.
9 months later the Bucks fired another coach and have professional playoff choker Doc Rivers as head coach😂😂😂

I have nothing but love and respect for bud as a bucks fan. He was there when we won 50 years after the first championship, he’s an amazing regular season coach but his non adjustments is what makes me want him to go. The loss of his brother was a terrible tragedy, but even before that happened coach bud didn’t make adjustments and possibly lost us the chance to re sign Jae crowder.

This feels very disrespectful to fire him after his brother just died especially since he won you a championship just two years ago. He should have been given at least one more year. Either way this was very disgraceful of the Bucks organization to do that.
He just couldn’t make any good adjustments not saying he is a terrible coach but the decisions he makes are sometimes just straight up stupid and without the literal best player on earth he would have lost his job a few years ago

I’m sick of people saying shit that implies it was just Jimmy who beat the Bucks. Factually that just isn’t true. The whole team stepped up and it was more of a team effort by the Heat, not just Jimmy solo squading the Bucks. I get he’s the franchise player but come on be real.

He has been bad at making adjustments in playoff losses for year..and I don't want to take away from Bucks 2021 Championship because they played great but Durants foot was barely on the line, litterally inches away from being eliminated and having zero titles.

He IS a horrible coach. The dude should probably have 3 ships right now but he's sitting on one, and he had nothing to do with it. Giannis went crazy, Khris Middleton was Kobe 2.0, and PJ Tucker clamped up everyone he guarded. I never liked him as a coach

I actually dont like the Nick nurse hire tbh. Sure Nick Nurse defenses are gonna be nasty but he can’t really run you plays on offense that well and he’s more of a player coach to me. Like Nick Nurse is better suited on a younger team trying to grow while Milwaukee needs a coach ready to compete now. Like let’s say the Knicks fire Thibs after this playoff series. Thibs would be a perfect fit for the Bucks imo, defensive minded, aggressive and ready to compete now.

The reason every championship coach gets fired, is because after they prove they can win a championship, and the team does, they are expected to be a dynasty, and if they don’t win another chip even if they’re a good coach, they aren’t living up to the championship expectations, and are fired
