When August came it felt as if Summer was ending. Rain was au rendez-vous almost everyday, which means that less time was spent in the garden but many hours were dedicated to knitting.
I made progress on my Wips, finished a new piece, and cast on for a new project in a new-to-me unspun yarn.

Melody, seeing you pick the blackberries reminded me of my growing up and the family would always go out and forge wild blackberries. That evening, my mother had made either a blackberry cobbler or blackberry pie topped with vanilla ice cream to enjoy after our evening meal.
