Great fix! Need to get some of those spare parts to keep stored in my kayak in case that happens, especially if you are on a fishing trip over several days away from home.
Great fix Mike and a very handy item to have on board your yak should the same thing happen when on a fishing trip. I have a possibles box under my seat and this looks like some thing I need to add.

great fix and tips. I don't have a kayak (I wish I did but won't be able to living in a metro area, limited space) but I do hope this helps someone.
