同Timothy 所說一樣，糖尿同Cancer可以申請medical exemption certificate，所有GP開的藥免費。病人可以帶香港病歷Reference letter去GP登記。GP証明就可以申請medical exemption certificate。我已經用了2年半免費藥，比在香港時睇專科更便宜。😊
响英格蘭嚟講，GP開唔開到嗰隻藥，主要都係要睇下個當地ccg嘅formulary 嗰個list。每個地區嘅formulary都唔同。如果GP係開唔到嗰隻藥，就要轉介去醫院睇專科醫生。

9.65 is quite expensive. 111 pound is also expensive, if you need to be frequently taking drug, in HK it should be also free if u seek public hospital services.
In England, you can sign up for a prescription prepayment certificate with direct debits for 10 monthly installments. It's cheaper than paying for a single prescription if you need a lot of medicines very frequently. It's £11.16 for 10 months. However, there are no prescription charges in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. So even in England, medicines are cheaper than in HK because a lot of medicines in HK aren't on the hospital authority's formulary list. For example, I have to have to pay the full cost for colesevelam and adalimumab if I'm in HK. Even though I'm using the biosimilar Amgevitia, it's still very expensive. They are both very expensive medicines. I'm in England and the hospital delivers amgevitia for free to my home with sciensus. So actually medicines in the UK are cheaper than in HK.
@@dominic213wMay be true in your case. But if a hypertensive young patient, the cost seems higher. "A lot" of drug not in formulary could be an overstatement.
@@lamwlwIf you read the full list of the hospital authority's formulary list, you would know what I meant tbh. My mum pays for her medicines in full cost with diabetes, hypertension, and glaucoma, even she usually see the doctors with the outpatient clinics at the hospital authority in HK. The only thing free at the hospital authority is the doctor's consultation.
@@dominic213w I would be surprised if common HT and DM drugs need to be paid for full cost in HA hospitals. U meant insulin need to be paid full (I.e. same cost private hospital/ clinics price?) ? My wife taking HT drugs and around 100plus HKD per prescription which could include multiple drugs.
@@lamwlw You see, HK$100 is roughly about £10.09 in today's exchange rate. A prescription payment certificate is £9.3 per month and I can get unlimited numbers of prescriptions with this. Also there's an option to buy a three month subscription for £31.25, so it's £10.42 per month. In addition, in England, one can apply for a medical exemption certificate for certain chronic conditions such as diabetes and cancer. Anyone under 16 and between 16 to 18 in full time education and anyone over 60 in England don't have to pay prescription charges. Anyway, my mum pays her medicine because she wants the better quality medicines, instead of the generic stuff. She can get the generic stuff for free from the hospital authority but my gp in HK said they aren't that great. The branded stuff are much better with efficacy.

請問現在NHS Apps全名是什麼？2022年中還用到它；但去年就無法上到該apps了。就連上NHS網登記睇醫生和攞藥都不能。聽聞好像更新了。

送上門既服務會愈來愈少，因為pharmacy來講dispensing items愈來愈冇錢賺，因為政府cut funding, 送上門都要錢，要賺錢既主要靠service/OTC medicines sales
唔係，有分開嘅。响英格蘭，普通嘅藥係可以用my GP嗰app 登記一間藥就可以免費送上門。但係要冷藏嘅藥，好似生物製劑咁，係由Sciensus專門負責免費送上門。
唔係wo,我2020年來時己有檢血，檢完可叫GP print 份report 比我。之後每幾個月檢一次都有攞返份report.
有啲GP唔會主動print out report, 不過會告訴你上patient access可看到報告
@@phoebesoso我個GP同埋醫院嘅專科醫生就唔會印嗰份驗身報告。而因為我成日都要定期驗血，我個嘅GP同埋醫院嘅做法係咁樣，通常佢哋發現到有嘢，即係啲指數唔正常，佢哋就會send啲短訊/寫信俾我。如果冇事，所有嘅指數正常，佢哋就唔會搵我。

應該是到期時GP通知驗血後，GP 睇完報告然後再判斷加或減藥

我係長期病患者，兩年前睇GP時糖尿護士叫我填左份Form ，寄去格拉斯哥，之後拎藥都唔洗錢。因為幾年前嘅事，啱啱到英國，好多野都唔識，嗰份form叫乜亦唔知。好驚咁樣會唔會當我攞福利影響永居入藉🥺⋯⋯
IHS cover的。NHS要你吃藥，減輕GP同醫院前線員工負擔。

呢啲嘢通常都係1年1次，張藥紙係會有寫the next review date。通常個診所職員/醫生係會通知你，但係如果個診所職員唔記得通知你，就記得要同診所職員掛號。你可以自己揀幾時做annual review，方便你自己可以容易啲記得。佢哋診所通常建議揀生日做annual review，因為一定會記得。
