Just purchased a new l60l yesterday paid cash $9,999.00 with tax it came to $10,698.00. Before I purchased I ask about negotiating price and she just smiled and said no sir in a very nice way. I purchased the yellow with black seats. I really like the Blue you chose. They had three i60l,s left and the others were purple and army green. I purchased from a dealer in Hattiesburg Mississippi. Pretty simple deal, Nice folks.
I been hearing a lot of complaints about these ICON golf carts. The customer support just isn’t there. I would stick with the other brands like EZGO, Club Car, and Yamaha they been around for a long time. These brands of golf carts will hold their value as well. Remember you get what you pay for.
Thanks David. I hope you are wrong. Just invested over 10k for a new 160l. time will tell. I knew going in I was buying from a start up company. I got the 2 year warranty from my local dealer who has been in business over 30 years. He likes the machine and says it is solid and well built. I am 60 years old and have been in sales for almost 40 of those 60 years and I know folks will say anything to make sale. I think I am good for a couple years Thanks for your advice though.
I import this brand to Israel in the past 8 years. We also used to import Par Car golf cars. Iconi is the best brand that China has to offer. It is well built and we import it with neos Toyota AC controllers. Hydraulic brakes for all 4 wheels. You won't find a better car. The only downside as an importer and service is that I don't get alot of money from the costumers after warranty time ends...
Hi there, thanks for the informative videos. Just about to pull the plug and purchase the 2020 I40, we are getting quotes for a little over10,000 before taxes, etc. Did you purchase from a dealer? If so where do you live were you able to negotiate on pricing? Thanks again, Patti
Hi and thanks for watching! I did purchase from a dealer. I live in Central Florida. The prices were fairly low at the dealer in my area. I didn't negotiate, just paid what they had listed on the showroom floor. I know demand for these had been really high so not sure how that's impacting pricing right now. I purchased mine in early August. Hope that helps!
I did look at the i40l as well and it was listed a bit under 9k at the dealer in my area. I want to say around 8900 but can't remember the exact figure.
Cart is doing well, no issues so far. I've only hard the cart for 2 months so can't really comment beyond that. Lots of people have these carts where I live and they all love them and haven't heard of any issues. The technicians at the place where I bought mine said they love these things, mentioned they run great, and rarely see them come in for work. I have a relative that bought a new Club Car HP Onward about a month before I got my Icon. Their onward has been in the shop twice to repair issues. Probably a fluke but makes me feel better about my purchase.
@@karbs76 It's handles very well. Being lifted and that long, you do feel it pull a bit when you turn a tight corner but that would be similar on anything lifted. You do have to be aware of the extra length when backing up or even parking in the garage. I was originally going to get the i40L but after I saw the price difference on the 6 seater, decided to go with it so I have the extra space for friends and family visiting.
Does anyone notice that the speedometer on the cart shows the speed is faster than what it actually is? My lifted according to the dealer is set to go 25mph. My iPhone app only shows it going 22.5. I know my iPhone app is accurate. TIA!

I spent 11k sure seems overpriced. But we love it
ezgo are great carts. i say enjoy whatever you decide to buy! i only put out a few videos for information since icon is a lesser known brand.
A i40L today will cost around 9700.00, the same cart in a onward is gonna cost 3000-4000 more. These are GREAT carts for the price.

Trying to get my cart registered, did the dealer give you a list of items that are installed on the cart?
No list that I recall, just the manual. Maybe you can grab a list from their site of all the standard equipment installed? Just a thought.

Bottomline . How is this cart holding up? Price point is much lower so I have concerns with quality and durability.

@@cwa99favs is driving it easy to handle even though it’s 3 feet longer than i40L?
