Veronica Butler was in a long-standing custody battle for her children with her mother-in-law, Tiffany Adams, for several years, but in March of 2024, it all came to an end when Tifany orchestrated and carried out her murder. Veronica had been granted supervised visitation with her children once a week, on Saturdays, and on March 30th she and the supervisor, Jilian Kelley, were on their way to pick up the kids when they were diverted down a dirt road and ambushed by Tifany and the rest of her accomplices. A search for the women ensued, and 2 weeks later, their bodies were found buried 10 feet deep in a chest freezer on a rural Oklahoman property. Tifany and her 4 co-conspirators have all been arrested, and each faces 5 charges related to the heinous crimes they committed. All of the defendants were part of an anti-government group called “God’s Misfits” although the cult is not believed to be the motive for the murders…

Timestamp 9:32 you’re talking about turkeys I had a turkey chased me when I was little on a bike and I got off the bike and ran that turkey was not nice. They’re not particularly nice birds that’s my opinion. One time me and my husband we’re gonna walk up this hill and there was about 30 turkey staring at us. He said we’re gonna turn around and I said yes we walked speedily not too fast down the hill because we didn’t want to be chased. We were not chased thank goodness.
Thank you for sharing the grittier, unpleasant characteristics of the victims. I agree that it may not be necessary in many cases, but it helps support the idea that people are not always faultless, but at the end of the day don’t deserve to be murdered

@@SarinaSazi as someone who knows a lot about CPS from working with kids myself and they would not have taken those babies away unless they felt like there was hard evidence they were in danger. Regardless of the specifics, she’s 100% guilty of hurting those babies in some way

To be fair, Christianity was built on good and evil. The God of the Bible committed and commanded the killing of thousands of people. However, most Christians follow the modern beliefs of being loving, which is a good thing.

I am not religious, wasn’t raised religious so I have no ground to stand on when it comes to other people’s beliefs, and I hope what I’m about to say doesn’t come off as offensive - I respect every person’s right to their own beliefs AS LONG as those beliefs aren’t harming anyone else. And my outside perspective of Christianity, on paper at least, is to be a good person. Being a good person means accepting others as they are, and doing no harm to other people, whether those people have the same beliefs as you or not. It always baffles me when people use Christianity as a shield for hatred and harm to other people. If God and Heaven truly are real and if He truly is the way He is described to be, he will be kicking about 30% of his “followers” straight down the firey staircase.

I have been a supervisor for court ordered supervised visits many times as a social worker. It has become quite dangerous and typically the person supervising has no protection for themselves at all. I have been held at gun point, threatened many times and have been in situations that just quickly became dangerous. Frustrating that better security doesn't exist
It sounds terrifying! That poor woman should have never been in that position at all in my opinion. If visits need to be supervised they need to be in a controlled environment with police/security present. This sounds like madness sending them off to be a passenger in someone else’s car and taken who knows where. Insanity!

I am the exact opposite. This case has been done to death and we don't have any new information. I want up to date true crime coverage as the cases are breaking, not out of date coverage months later after everyone and the mom has already relayed the same information
@@sheramelton3583 A lot of these cases are from the USA, which I am not, so I do not even see half of these on the news, so having all the information at once is beneficial, even if it's a couple months later. I understand your POV because it could be within your country or your community, so I understand the want for quick information. I am the same when an incident is close to home.

Even just seeing the thumbnail of this case reminds me of my own mom.......since my very first child, she kept telling him "I'm your mommy.....OOPS I mean your grandma" and told me at least 3 times that she wanted to breastfeed him. She tried to force me to sign over my kids to her on the day we had a car accident (with no injuries) and that day she basically told me she wanted my husband and I to die so she could have our kids. Creepy, unstable grandmas are a thing.
See!! That sounds like my MIL. She managed to get her daughters to give her their kids and decided hubby and I would do the same when we got married. Keep in mind, 2 of our 3 are from my previous marriage and had loving grandparents on their dads side AND my mom was/is an awesome grandmother. MIL HATES me because we raised our own kids and managed just fine without her! I love my grandbabies, but I don't necessarily want to raise them! I do not understand grandparents like that. AT ALL!

I used to live in the town Hugoton, and Jillian was the wife of the pastor of my church. She was very sweet and she loved her kids. She was constantly hugging up on them. She was a very gentle spirit may she rest with the lord 🤍

Imo Wrangler knew exactly what his mother was going to do . He may not have been physically there but to me he is just as guilty and should be behind bars with his awful mother ! i pray he doesnt get custody of those kids !!!!

There is currently a missing girl in Gainesville Georgia who has been missing for 5 weeks now. A bunch of tips have been called in but absolutely no sign of her. They believe she could be anywhere from Texas to Maryland. Was allegedly taken right from her driveway in Gainesville. Was wondering if you heard anything about this? @@luvprincess_xo I am 27 and me and my mom still go on weekly mother/daughter dates. In June we took a little mini vacation together. I also have an 8 year old niece who I see as my daughter. She doesn't live with her mother because she is unfit but no matter how unfit she is I could never in a million years put my niece through the trauma of unaliving her mom just because I think I might be better fit. People who think they would be better so murder the other party to me are a whole different kind of psychotic that I will never ever understand.

I’m in Louisiana and we can pick the person who supervised the visit as long as it’s okayed by both parents if they cannot agree the court chooses someone.

The birthday party they were going to attend was Veronica’s daughter’s birthday party. The little girl’s birthday is also the day her mother died due to murder.
This is sick. There should be some kind of EXTRA punishment that’s added to any charge of murder where the motive is custody ! Death sentence. Life insurance murders too. Automatic premeditated. And I was shocked that when Jillian’s husband was speaking about how much she loved her kids, the son(?), was texting??? That was really bad manners and as rude as it gets.

I am not a murderer, but if someone was willingly exposing my children to their sexual abuser, that thought would definitely cross my mind. To say she made questionable parenting choices is a massive understatement. Why she would let that happen and CONTINUE to allow it is beyond me.

I do not trust him, he and his mother do not seem a reliable source of information. It is really common for false accusations like that to pop up in custody disputes.
@@bunnyellabell The children had symptoms of being sexually abused. Discounting that the abuse could have taken place by using qualifiers such as “accusations and have yet to be proven” is disrespectful to the victims (the children).
@@cynthiahertzog8572 You can raise a kid but you do not love them if you are choosing to bring their sexual abuser around them repeatedly. They said she had lawyered up and petitioned the court to regain unsupervised visits the following week. Again, I am not a murderer, but if I was on the verge of being forced to send my child back to a parent who let pedophiles around her, I would be out of my mind. Temporary insanity is a defense for a reason. Who knows how desperate and afraid any of us would be in that situation.

Fun fact: The non-custodial parents are provided a list of court approved 3rd party supervisors they can call and both parties have to agree. (I'm a child visitation supervisor in Oklahoma County). Heartbreaking to hear..
Absolutely disgusting. Reminds me of Taiya Talbot(6)and Tyler Bernard(10)case near Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. Their grandmother, Jane LaMarsh drove her car into a river with her 2 grandchildren and her 12 year old daughter she also tried to kill, who luckily made it out safely.

Yes! My first thought when I saw her wearing that shirt was she was definitely not a Christian. So sorry for all the children involved including the 16 year old who was sucked in by her insane parents. Prayers for justice for all involved!
Wrangler and his mother are both psychopaths and they are the reason Veronica was moving around - trying her best to protect herself and her children (in my opinion, allegedly)
I worked in that field for many years and the number of psychopaths who end up with custody of the children is insane.
Every woman who attempts to protect her kids is presented as ‘unstable’.
The laws that allow violent/abusers continued access to their victims is to blame for these murders. And the many other similar deaths.
There is no escaping a psychopath once you’ve had a child with them.
If Wrangler isn’t charged with anything I don’t see why he wouldn’t end up with custody and that’s a scary thought.

How heartbreaking for the children which are left behind. It sounds like Veronica's children have already been through enough trauma if those allegations are true. Poor little children, absolutely awful for them. I hope they are doing okay wherever they are now.

I really appreciate you giving the whole account of this custody situation, including Veronica’s history or reports because it helps us all see the big picture and no one else is including any of the information that shows how this custody case got so vicious and motive for these monsters to get the idea to do what they did, not just to Veronica but Jillian who was literally not even friends with Veronica but a person who assists parents in their supervised visitations so the kids get the opportunity to see that parent. It’s atrocious what was done to Veronica, but even more horrifying these 5 evil, sadistic individuals would do such brutal and inhuman things to Jillian who was just a person tagging along on the visitation.
This is horrible! I really hope you will keep us updated on the outcome of this case. I am a Canadian, with no network tv, so I can't get information any other way. My heart is breaking for the innocent children in this case.

OMG!! When I was a child, under 10 years old, I used to spend summers with my grandparents in the middle of nowhere Kentucky. They had a farm with turkeys, chickens, roosters, etc. I'm fairly certain I have ptsd from being chased by turkeys and roosters. The chickens were chill, but roosters and turkeys are mean as hell.

I will never forget my brother wailing in pain while taking a pee in mother nature's bathroom, a capon (castrated male chicken) charged st at him and bit his hoo-hoo. I'm a 70 yr old woman, will never be able to erase that memory! 😮
