I haven't really paid attention to her prior to this show. Her voice is a lot fuller than I've heard it before. Her tone is just lovely. And I love that she stays more on her mid-lower register now.
I am from the UK, I'm not previously a huge Jessie J fan but I have watched all of her songs on this show now about 15 times at least, then watched the whole episodes. As far as Jessie goes, in my opinion at 30 years old she is now reaching true diva status in terms of ability, she might well be the best of her generation especially in dealing with the standards like Whitney's material though probably not Mariah's. As far as the point of Singer show hiring Jessie, I think it was in part because they wanted to provide a platform for Western people to come and listen to some Chinese musicians. I have done that & I have to say, that of course is is difficult as I have only listened to Western music for 35 years so I do not get Chinese music straight away. But I have been very impressed by the talent, arrangements, artistry and collective spirit of the singers. So if the intention was to pay Jessie a lot of money to be the best of the West and to give a chance for Chinese artists to see Western eyes. Jessie is the best, and I am impressed with the Chinese artists. So I think they spend the money well!
Showcasing the legendary songs of the legendary singers of the west and bringing it all to the east! Whitney Houston, Roberta Flack, Michael Jackson, Prince, Luther Vandross etc... And some of these songs are extremely hard to deliver! Legendary JessieJ! Living legend!
Until now, she's is the only one who insists to sing English song in seven episodes. She will not easily to change for audience preferences. She wants to show her best to everyone who listening to her music. Super admire😍
Love and appreciate Jessie j as a performer by seeing how she turns, reacting to the lyrics, shaking with the instrumental and music as well as including the audience and the band inside. It’s like she knew she’s there to perform for whoever watch her performance instead of forcing anything to win the competition or stage over. I’m falling in love with her passion, charm and stage appeal.

And I would argue the one of the best stage presences (up there with Beyonce) however as far as NATURAL stage presence/movement, meaning without highly choreographed movements but just her feeling the music .. she is BY FAR the best. She is so captivating to watch. Crazy talented. Wow.
Whatever she sings, she brings everyone into the emotions of the songs. This is a big win of her music no matter if she gets the 1st place in the show or not. 😚😚😚

They have a long break and Jessie J went on vacay so shell be back with a big vengeance. All the singers were told to really raise the bar for episode 8 because the Challenger is someone very famous.
I love Jessie! I think she´s the Queen, she is the winner absolutely, of this contest and one of the best singers in the world! Every show is perfect! Her lives and her amazing vocals are stunning! I think this episode 7 was not the best song choice (she sang it perfectly), it is not an amazing song as "I Have Nothing" or other songs that she has sung, so maybe she has to think very well what next songs she´s going to sing, because people want to be amazed by her voice in every show (expecting always something unbeliavable). It doesn´t matter if she wins or not, she's the Queen and there is no question!
