The GOF test allows us to determine whether a given set of data follows a certain distribution or not. Ex: we can use the GOF test to determine whether a set of data follows a normal distribution. On the other the hand the 2 Way test determines whether two categorical variables (ex ‘preferred color’ and ‘preferred clothing brand’) are independent from each other or not.
