    We've been missing you and this was another example of why. This was another straightforward and exceedingly useful set of instructions that you make easy to follow. Thanks.

    I'm a 70 yr old widdow and I've lived without handles for several years because I was afraid to do this task. After watching your instructions I feel silly I waited so long. I watched several videos on making a simple jig and yours is by far the easiest to understand and to execute! Thank you! Ordering my handles now.

    Talk about coincidence I came in from the shop for a cuppa prior to putting drawer and door pulls on my latest project. Cuppa time was for me to think about how to proceed. Your jig and commentary was the inspiration I was looking for, thank you. Happy new year to you and your family .

    I took woodworking in a prison rehab course, but they never taught us anything cool like this. Good job.

    Thank you for putting your jigs up for folks to see and experiment with the results. Innovation is best accomplished by teamwork and sharing the failures and successes.

    I recommend to always and I mean ALWAYS, hold your handle up to your marks and give it the old eye ball test to see if your marks line up with the holes on the handle! I work as a cabinet installer and know that when you’re starting out with handle home layouts it’s very easy to get in a rhythm, make a mistake and ruin a front because a hole got marked wrong.

    I've done the same thing on 2 different kitchen projects that had a LOT of doors. We put knobs on the doors not handles so I only had to drill one hole in each door.

  • @alans1816
    @alans1816 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    A good simple approach. If you don't use a drill press, it's probably worth checking that the screws fit the handle going through the jig in both directions.

    You bought pre-made cabienets? Why did you not just mke they yourself?

    • @InspireWoodcraft
      @InspireWoodcraft 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Honestly with the price of materials it was easier and less expensive to just buy them.

    • @Zamboni-0805
      @Zamboni-0805 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@InspireWoodcraft So does that mean you are going to get out of woodworking? Because almost anything you build out of wood currently may be cheaper and easier to just buy pre made. However, it will not be custom and the quality will not be the same.
