My favorite Larnell Harris is the hymn "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" and then with Sandy Patty "I've Just Seen Jesus" or "More Than Wonderful"
Also, listen to "I've Got Friends " Larnelle Harris. I have worship with this song since 1979!! When I first came to Jesus.
Yes, Friends in High Places is one I lived on during a rough time in my life. Praise God for Larnell. I got to hear him while with a friend at a local college and there's nobody else that can 'SING A SERMON' like Larnell. I love to listen to Him and SP also.

Mr. Larnelle Harris, the maven worshiper, range, tonality, and capacity to breath and interpret this song with jazz, gospel, and pop genres which reminds me somewhat of the late Al Jarreau. What an anointed man of God. Yes- I adamantly concur that his voice control is magical as he sounds like he is singing and talking. Additionally- I assiduously hear a theatrical voice telling a story.
Larnelle's voice is amazing. He is also one of the kindest people I have ever met. He truly portrays story songs in an amazing way. We always joke about how much bigger his voice would be if he opened his mouth all the way. No one would be able to handle the power. Truly a gift from God.

Larnelle is amazing! The word you’re searching for is...anointed. There is talent, of course, but when a singer is anointed...you feel it in your soul-to the very core of you, that part that longs to be with the Father.

So now I get to tell you that not only have I sang (in a choir) with the Gaither's, but I've also sang (in a choir) as backup to Larnelle. He also rehearsed with us. He talked with us. He is very down to earth. He is amazing. My favorite is the Were You There Medley...
We sang with him on his Unbelieveable Love tour at my college campus (Huntington University- then Huntington College) in Huntington Indiana. One of the songs we sang was Steal Away. It was incredibly moving.
