I have to constantly update myself to today’s patois. I’m older and has not lived in Jamaica for decades. I chat my patois, but the younger generation use words that is new to me. I love my culture though and would not change it for the world. Children have to be taught English as well as patois and should know when to use it.
Colaz, the airline change flights like that if the plane that was scheduled to fly people from one area to another if the original plane became disabled or they are short of Captains or staff on the particular airlines, sometimes they change up do to the weather! The airlines call each other to see how many passengers they booked, especially if they don’t have a spare pilot! My Sister worked for DELTA AIRLINES for 22years, she retired 2 years ago!!
