This video was posted in 2006 and has suffered terribly in terms of quality. As it was, this song was performed towards the very end of the set so of course the boys were growing tired. But they still nailed the performance. Like I said, this video was uploaded in '06, and TH-cam had a much different encoding algorithm when compared to today's encoding. Also, this version was compressed and poorly ripped from the DVD. If you check the third-party uploads, especially the recent ones, you'll hear a HUGE contrast in audio quality. The performance here is absolutely phenomenal and the entire Live In Denver set was wonderfully executed. In fact, I've followed the band since the Fever demos and I've got to say the Live In Denver DVD does a fantastic job of encapsulating Panic! in their absolute prime. If you check other uploads of the same performance, you'll see what I'm talking about. The boys absolutely NAILED the ENTIRE RECORD here and every song sounds as close to the studio version as humanly possible. Some songs (like 'But It's Better' or 'Build God') even sound significantly better than the record. This performance is the best, in terms of quality and artistic integrity, that they've ever played. Quite frankly, the version here at Fuled By Ramen sounds like absolute dog shit compared to the other uploads and it truly doesn't do the band justice in the slightest.
Gerald Wiseman I know this is an old comment, I'm sorry but I was on the other videos before with better sound quality and they so were amazing! So amazing in fact that people in the comments kept telling other people that their voices had been heavily edited and such. Do you think that's true? Personally I'd like to belive they didn't , but I'm just trying to figure out what the truth is, I mean they're a great band regardless if it was auto-tuned or not but I was just wondering.
@@tiffanyanne7707 Yeah I can't tell you for sure, but from my understanding this video is the original audio before they added some production for the DVD. I think if you listen to any of their other performances it makes more sense than to think they were somehow nearly perfect in this show and no other. Could be wrong though.

Not until I saw Panic on the 2016 tour with my favorite band Weezer did I realize how talented Brandon Urie is. He came a long way vocally from 2006 when they broke out with this song. I give him a lot of credit! He was always good, but man he's amazing now.
I just LOVE the exquisite vocals at 2:01 and 2:12. It's just so amazing that they're able to sing so well in tune that you can hear every overtone, which makes their voices resonate sonorously both in the hall and in my heart. *snort*
Can we just go back to this era and just stay forever please, I get that everyone loves new panic! now but like I would sell my soul to stay in 2006 panic! era and never leave, I'd be in the age of ryden and never have to leave, that sounds like everything to me

he sung this way because my best friend was dating him, and i sung "I write sin's not tradgedies" this way especially starting at about 1:00. He told me he would do something for me but wouldn't tell me what and made me figure it out on my own.
I've seen Panic 3 times and I never heard them play this version once, it was always different, once like a lullaby, twice like a slow song and 3 like a jazzy song

Death of a Bachelor is freaking impressive in my opinion. I mean there are some pretty damn amazing songs in that album and to think that Brendon pretty much carried the whole album out on his own is dearly amazing. However yeah I will forever miss Ryan Ross because he DID bring something to music that I will forever love. Yup, its on a Dvd in their limited edition box set. they dont sell them on the FBR website anymore, but you might be able to find one online somewhere.
I love how he says "Well, this calls for a toast" xD also, how on EARTH does that lady move her hips like that?!?! Damn, I'd throw my back out if I attempted that.

Ryan's voice is stronger than Brendon's during the long "Again" and that says something. His voice is good. :] The band did real good. Haha. Roger and Katie Kay are real awesome!
It sounds so different when the audience isn't singing along 😂
They are, it's just this was recorded for a film and they turned down the audio for the audience I guess? But they are definitely singing along
It also sounds different when you can tell Brendon isn’t completely sick of singing this song yet too
