bueno la verdad es que estoy maravillado por la nueva forma de trabajar el campo,la agricultura es impresionante la gran tecnología que han desarrollo gracias a ustedes que han han hecho es posible
It's a nice concept, but the main thing I don't like about it is that it loads too quickly. The crop is consequently light and fluffy compared to the forager pile driving it into the trailer and the trailer bouncing around the field settling the load. I suspect the weigh bridge would be a very telling with a back to back comparison. However whether the continuity of chopping overcomes the decreased load is something I would also be curious about as it certainly makes good sense to keep the forager moving.
I'm interested in the tradeoff aspects of this op regards towed forage wagons versus side by side filling. Also soil compaction. Too many tractors & trailors on the field versus 1 wagon with 3 axles and a harvester with one set of wheels . Is European climates too wet to get dumper trucks in to collect silage and cutout the tractor middlemen as they can do in the states for some dairy operators?
@@marks_sparks1 no this is a very special operation, 99.99% of the forage harvesting here is done in a normal way with a tractor and trailer next to the forager. It is unclear to me why they woukd do it with a shuttle, except for having the tractor on land for shorter periods of time. Faster loading is not really a thing as the speed is always mandated by the guy in the silage pit and because of the wheight is not really an arguement because it all still drives on the farmland. For very wet conditions harvesters with tracks are used in combination with tracked dump trucks.
Sehr sehr geile Idee Die Anschaffung sollte sich doch gut gegenrechnen Weniger Personal Weniger trecker Und Anhänger im Einsatz Dazu kommt noch weniger Verluste von der ernte Einfach nur genial
+Adam McGhee Both, but increasingly the trend is towards contracting it out. Ever increased output capacity is great for improved productivity and flexibility for dodging the weather, but also has increased financial burdens on the business. So many now opt to use contractors, whom in turn can spread those costs over a much larger area. But another trend has been to be spreading to usage of this equipment in another way, particularly on dairy farms, whereby the waste product and chopped green crop is digested by an anaerobic digester. Such an instilation on site will use up both product, allow the generation of methane gas and collect it so that a combustion engine can run on it and drive a generator. To feed that takes a considerable amount of material. Its waste is spread back on the land, so more usage of some of the equipment. For the most part tho, these days, the capitol outlay for smaller family dairy farms is not considered justifiable and hence the option to contract.
Mooie video weer.
Carlo Ayala Sure, after it is fermented. Cows actually really like it. Kind of a bovine equivalent to sauerkraut. It can be made with hay ("hay-lage") or things like Oats, Peas, and vetch mixed together. In even small quantities it will increase milk production as well (you will have to look this up if you have questions, I read about it several years ago when I was considering a career in dairy). The only draw back is that the bacteria in the silage make the milk unsuitable for raw-milk cheeses (the cheese will be... bubbly).
Surely there’s a way they could design the hopper to sit much lower to the ground...Nothing like having 10tonnes 20 feet in the air while driving. LoL.
agreed but if you watch to the end of the video you see it can be used close to the ground to! he just have to rise it to unload in to a high trailer,, but can lover it if he drive on uneven ground.
its to make job of the driver of the harvester EASYER. SO he dont have to constantly have to aim at a seperate trailer, same time as he have to see where he is driving. also he can harvest more constantly if they have less trailers.. and he can load them fast, so they can use more time transporting.
they are definitely powered, the chassis is built by DEWA (check out "Dewa powered trailers in action" on here on yt). But I think the container (if that is the right word) is selfmade by the contractor.
How would they be timed in synchronization with tractor tires, sounds complicated maybe tractor tires time themselves to trailer tires when trailer traction switch is activated
вот на счет этого правильно заметил.сколько видео смотрю как то у них все чётко.трактора новые чистые все ухожено. а у нас было около этой ямы куча старого которая жутко воняла.

New Holland only made it through because the trailer had drive wheels, she was going down otherwise
Eart home
Amazing movie, Spotter. I learned a lot about silage. I´m just not sure our soils would endure all of that. Anyways, thanks! :D
That is some very nice silage for sure! The 900 series does have some nice size rotary cutters!

Great video. Are the rear wheels on the jaguar powered? Or is it 2 wheel drive?
Nice work job well done !!

Lovely!
This is all marvelous and necessary today but I mourn the loss of the small farm.
With the self unloading trailer on the clamp How much contamination is going into the pit off the wheels ?
Looks like they get washed
I like this blue power tractors.
Never seen something like this but very interesting great invention it makes the job lot more easier!!?...

Do farmers own this equipment usually or do they contract with a company to come harvest for them?

Were the axles on the yellow trailer powered? It looked like drive was enabled at some points.
yes most likely it have some sort of PTO ore hydraulic drive it can take power from if nessesary to drive the wheels to getting out of a field.
Awesome montage as usual!!
Thanks :)
superb vdo
So cool
Sehr schön, very cool
Nice Video, Like !!

How come you never see Tractors in N. America with a front 3 point hitch/ PTO?
+MrFakit There are many tractors with 3 point hitches in the front, depends on application.
What is the product they are handling/harvesting? Cattle feed..........?
Jeevanandam A Corn Silage, AKA Cornilage It's a fermented feed used for dairy cattle.
+Todd Schriver wait it minute, do they give this product to the cows?
Carlo Ayala Sure, after it is fermented. Cows actually really like it. Kind of a bovine equivalent to sauerkraut. is that it? you ground the stems, leaf and fruit together?
Yep and then it's fed to cows in winter.
Dit was n baie goeie video awesome mis my traker baie
Much better idea, seems half the blown wastage.

Now thats a mess of feed!!
Thật tuyệt
The tractors from the field are driving up on the stack with their dirty wheels....??
Really?.That's what you are. worried about?
After that, used for what that corn?
Cow feed
For what purpose this chooran they use?
its to make job of the driver of the harvester EASYER.
SO he dont have to constantly have to aim at a seperate trailer, same time as he have to see where he is driving.
also he can harvest more constantly if they have less trailers.. and he can load them fast, so they can use more time transporting.
do those wagons have powered axels and if so what is this kind of wagon called?
they are definitely powered, the chassis is built by DEWA (check out "Dewa powered trailers in action" on here on yt). But I think the container (if that is the right word) is selfmade by the contractor.
Why are there thress in those fields?
Oq bonito tractor sunba bien perron
do those trailers have powered axels ? if so how can I find out more about them ?
jetegtmeier71 yes they do let them build at a company or buy them
DEWA or RECORD or DEZEURE -trailers Belgium.
I was asking same thing that trailer pulled by the new holland looked like it had drive shaft to those tandem axles
How would they be timed in synchronization with tractor tires, sounds complicated maybe tractor tires time themselves to trailer tires when trailer traction switch is activated
