OKAY HIIII I'm finally here to leave a real comment!!! So sorry it took me so long but it makes for a good excuse (as if I need one...) to rewatch this PERFECT edit so that I can point out some of my favorite things about it (so as not to make it way too long by pointing out the whole thing lol because really I loved every single second of this). First of all, the ship. I wouldn't dare wish getting someone who would edit them for me, as they've been one of my biggest obsession for the past 2 years but then I DID and I know I already said it on Twitter but it made so incredibly happy from the get-go when I saw the thumbnail (which is so pretty, btw) and that you'd pick them out of my endless list of ships (or like, you'd pick them over making a multicouples edit or something - which I would have loved too, ofc! but like. It's Polivia. I can't be partial with Polivia 🥺). Anyways. Second of all: the song. As much as I love when people use songs I do love for a gift like that, I love it even more when someone picks a song that I don't know because a good 70% of the songs I discover are through edits asjsksks and this one will definitely make its way to my playlist now!!! It's so beautiful and SO THEM AS WELL you paired the scenes with the lyrics just so perfectly. I'm obsessed!!! Also, the style of the video is soooo pretty like THAT TEXT??? Oh I love love love!!! Now to get to more specific parts of the video: THE BEGINNING WITH THE "this time you're not alone" QUOTE IS JUST 😭😭😭 Also the parallels with the holding hands in the s3 finale and when they first met... with THOSE lyrics on top... also the "when you told me your name" part unfortunately I am not immune to all the Polivia-as-children feels 😭😭😭 the "now that I found you I'm not letting go" with the best hug that ever hugged on TV aaaaaah!!! also I just love the way you went from the verse to the chorus here with the "light effect" or whatever it's called asjsksk. ALSO "i've got this missing piece" with "I know what it's like to have a hole in your heart" MY. GODDDDD. And the "I'm not gonna lose you again" parallels 🥺🥺🥺 "fall into me" and it's just SO. MANY. HUGS!!! ALSO "I've got the missing piece" with "you belong with me" truly you are a MASTER of pairing scenes/quotes with lyrics because??? IT FITS JUST SO PERFECTLY??? AND GOD WHAT BETTER WAY TO END A PERFECT VIDEO WITH THEIR PERFECT HAPPY ENDING!!! Sorry I got a bit carried away with this comment asjsksks hope you won't mind but truly this is absolutely STUNNING and I just wanted to thank you again for taking the time to make something like this for my Secret Santa video.
