Stevie - Rehome

Stevie: In need of a new home with love and adventure. I need slow introduction to other dogs. I’ve only been around two cats. I may or may not like people. I’ll either love you instantly or go into stalker like mode and then lunge, nose punch and bite shortly after. I’ve spent fours years in group therapy and two 6 week stay over professional behavior training school. I find dog parks to unpredictable. Love hiking and do well with the leash and positive commands. I have had muzzles and shock collars and find I do better (Happier) with lead leash, sometimes wrapped around nose if I know I’ll be walking past unknown people, kids or dogs. I have five dog friends in my circle I play well with. My new home needs to be with an experienced dog owner who recognizes when my anxiety becomes reactive. I’m a rescue from New Mexico Indian Reservation and I have been in my current home for over 5 years. Due to extensive business travel and having only two places where I feel comfortable and the sitters are experienced and I love them. My unpredictability is a concern; however, if I like you, I’ll always like you. I have recently attacked and caused puncture wounds on two small havanese dogs (Family) and since they will be staying with me, it’s been difficult managing a safe zone.
