    Such colour for the North Sea! The flora and fauna is dazzling. With no international travel at present, it would be the ideal time for David Attenborough to make a documentary series showing dives around OUR coasts.

      It's a beautiful dive, the shallow water brings the colour out nicely

    Lovely video! What other locations around the UK would you recommend for diving? 😊

      I mostly dive locally - so the River Waveney around Bungay, the north Norfolk coast at Weybourne and Sheringham are the ones I'm most familiar with. Occasionally it clears enough at Lowestoft for me to have a shore dive. Swanage is excellent as is Plymouth and St Martin's Haven in Pembrokeshire. Apart from that I've not dived other UK spots as yet though I'm going to be spending July in my van driving around so will certainly add some more places to my logbook

    Thanks for this, I never knew it was so pretty under water anywhere in the UK

      Thanks for your comment :-) This is a beautiful site, my favourite and the prettiest wreck i've dived anywhere. It's maximum of 12m deep on a high, mostly less than 6m, so lots of light gets down there and the weed/anemone/sponge/squirt life on it is incredible. Same with the crustacea and fish life. It's maybe 200m off the beach so an easy shore dive, just a short slog with gear from the car park. 90 mins on a 12l isn't uncommon! Had up to 10m visibility in the past too which was outstanding though usually there's less than 5. Lovely place to go.

      Oh it's just a delightful dive there. I'm usually down about 90 minutes as it's only around 8m max and around 120m from the shore. I've spent hours on it and there's always stuff to see.

      @@Codbotherer some of the shallower wrecks are much better then the deep ones. 👍🏻

    How are currents down there

    • @Codbotherer
      @Codbotherer  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We dive at slack so minimal to nothing really during the dive. Depending on whether it is a spring or neap we get around a 1-2hr dive window. Once it picks up though it is in the region of 2kts mid-flow.
