The border between Burma and Thailand was reported calm on
Thursday (23/2), after Burmese government troops ousted Karen
rebels from their last major stronghold this week. Guerrillas of
the Karen National Union abandoned their Kawmoora camp in eastern
Burma after two weeks of intensive shelling by Burmese troops. The
camp, which is just across the border from Thailand, is the last
of the rebel strongholds to fall.

AP Archive , thankyou for uploading such a very value documentary. This is what we have been looking for !! We're appreciate very much !!
Thai government is so generous. They take so many refugees in various countries (Burma, Pakistan, Afghanistan, North Korea, and Cambodia for example)
No they are not!! Thai help U.S bombed Cambodia during project Menu 1965-1973 (killed nearly 2 million Khmer). By 1980-1986 Thailand help U.S funded 85 million dollar to Pol Pot Regime near the border!! Guess who funded Khmer Republic party Lon Nol who later clash into civilwar? Bingo!! U.S , Thai , Vietnam, Russian, and China. Russian support Vietnamese invasion into Cambodia while China funded weapon to Pol Pot....
Open your eyes . Thailand is cruel
I have once read of a christian resistance leader saying"prayer is our solace".That group is still standing.Likewise my dear friends of the Karen people,do so like wise. That u still stand against that regime is a sign of many battles won.Victory though, lies with the Lord.

Thanks for post
KAREN people is very kind and welcome everyone even if they don’t know you in their village
But Burmese dictators tried to kill them and burn their villages
Who put Burmese (Sino Chinese) rulers in power? British!! The same British Karen fought in wars for since colonization 1886 til WW2..

I'm so sorry for what happened to you and your people. There is nothing I can say that could take it away.
In Jesus name, I pray that you find peace in your mind and soul and heart and strength. You already have amazing courage just by coming out and telling us a tidbit of your story.
Be rest assured that there are some people and governments and organizations that are actually trying to help and save your people. Thailand, on the Thai side of the border is a place of refuge.
Please try to find a Christian group that can show you love and embrace.
God bless.
