Hi Trevor & Pat, we spent 3 months (with breaks so as not to exceed the 28 day rule) in 2012 in our caravan when we sold up our house in Clitheroe and moved to Lincolnshire. Smashing site, we walked every other day down the road into Louth and back. Finally found a great little bungalow in Louth September 2012, never any regrets. We were only paying £10 a night in 2012!
Eleven years ago. Actually I don't think that's too bad an increase in that time. You did well walking to louth and back, it would keep you fit. Louth is a nice town.
One of our regular sites, lovely owners & they usually pop to see you to make sure all okay. You are in the garden of the old South Elkington hall. The old walled gardens is now a caravan storage area, the old cellars are still there apparently & remains of the hall can be seen in the woods. There are some nice walks although this time of the year may be muddy. The walk into Louth is about 2.5 miles but entail a couple of styles & you do cross the busy A16. The phone signal is in & out but always managed to get Amazon tv. Have a great time there.
Hi Trevor and Pat Subscribed recently we throughly enjoy your banter. Yes I remember my mum paying weekly so she could buy clothes for us. Also remember mum paying into a toy/bike shop for a year then we would go and choose our Christmas present. How do we purchase your book
