    WOW this video really hit home because I was shy in HS and smart, but I found that black women rarely checked for me until they were broken by Select dudes. They definitely let you know that you weren't her top choice and no matter how well you treat them you're not going to make your way out of that basement. I've dated other races because Sistas just wasn't checking but then they label you as sellout and think that you hate your mother and your race, but its like this, I like steak but am I going to starve if I'm in a place where there's no beef or eat chicken? And just because you see me eating chicken is it fair to assume I hate steak? as the Apostle Paul would say 'God forbid' lol. As a man the most desirable trait a woman can have is showing attention to you and making you feel like you're her type. Enjoying the videos I've listened to the angry black men who have given up on Black women but not every man that dates other races exclude black women.

    great analysis.i think the reason why some select black men are non productive is because they don't have to work for black women.black women will sleep with a dude with zero potential if he looks good enough.i've seen black women reject doctors and air force men because she did not like his looks only to later on regret not getting with a guy like that because the men she chose were unsuccessful.i think that's why a lot of successful black men do date out more because other races of women do not make looks as the total reason why being with a man.the inner qualities matter to these women most black women do not get that.everything is surface shit.i don't want a women who only looks good she has to have other good inner qualities as well.going for only looks is a recipe for disaster aka the black community.

    • @RomWills
      @RomWills  8 ปีที่แล้ว +25

      The looks issue is the one we really dance around. Sistas don't want to admit to it and brothas want to feel like their verbal game is really doing it. I'm going to have to do that video though. You are correct though in that women of other cultures like looking at a man but he better have something going on for him.

    Perception becomes Reality. I'm glad the internet is bringing the gap together between the Select and nonselect men. Thats going to create synergy for the game. Its going allow men to know the full spectrum of a woman and what he may need to develop and ultimately how he will handle most women in his life, and which he will choose to handle and for want reasons. I have learned a new appreciation for the players and select men sharing their experiences. And the things the Squares and Non Selects can do to have their share of positive female attention , reciprocation and behavior.

    This is real science, ROM! Excellent video! I'm going to listen to this one a couple more times. I've had experiences on both ends. I think most men start out in life maybe not so select. But as we mature and they earn more in our careers, we become more select in my opinion. That's why men become more valuable as we get older.

    I never had a problem getting girls n sex n highschool. I dated mostly white n black girls. I found all races of girls attractive but sisters n white girls where into me the most. I thought black girls were sweet for the most part and I knew which one's to avoid when it came to dating. I may have slipped up and had sex with a few I wasnt really into just cause they were throwing it at me. Even though i also liked white girls I felt obligated to marry a black woman. After a real bad marriage to one of those sisters I thought was sweet. I haven't dated a black woman since. Its been like sixteen years. It seemed to me after h.s. and a divorce when I was back on the dating scene sisters werent so sweet n nice in my opinion anymore. It seems like alot of the roundaway girls change when they become adults. I like sisters better when Im just they're friend. I just dont work with them romantically. I dont bash them publicly but my perception of them has changed I just keep it to myself...

    Your right. You have given me a new perspective. Of my close group of friends, I am the lightest one. My boys have a dark chocolate complexion. The thing we have in common is that we are all athletes and my friends are jacked. We never had a problem attracting women of all races. But like you said, their bodies have to be damn near perfect. I never thought about the experience of men who don’t fit this category and I may never understand it.
    From personal experience, because I have dealt with women of different races, they are all superficial.
    After completing your video what I see is that non-select white men having an easier time than non-select black men. I have seen some okay white dudes with good looking white women. But what I haven’t seen is okay black dudes with good-looking black women. I have actually seen okay black dudes with good looking women of other races including white women.
    Thanks for broadening my perspective.

    Rom, yet another outstanding video. You were totally on point. Select brothas have no idea what the non-select brothas go thru unless they are connected due to being family or good friends. I've seen it my whole life. There is absolutely a disconnect between the two groups. And I am waiting for you to drop that video about sistahs dogging the brothas that like them. I know that's going to be some real talk.

  • @regionprince
    @regionprince 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Binge watching your stuff. There's also some select brothas that criticize black women as well. But their reason is because they tend to come across bad experiences at a young age with young girls. Some select guys are the targets of more predatory female behavior, the type of girls that like that they can get the cutest guy, but she quickly move on to the next guy, leaving the first guy heartbroken and wondering why. Same happens in marriages as well. A woman will marry a man that all the other women want, only to find out she isn't really into him, then turn the marriage into hell, cheat, or divorce. Then of course there are the men that started out non-select but became select due to self-work, but haven't shed the non-select wounds.

    Please consider continuing the theme of how selects and non selects have different experiences. Both are right. Men need to respect one another's experiences and accept that other men win differently without simpin.' We need to explore the source of this need to insult one another. We must first demonstrate that we respect the various stages or levels of manhood before expecting the respect of women or society. As you point out, we are likely to ascend and descend the ladder throughout our lifetime. As a young man in my twenties, a player became a mentor to me. I was impressed when he said he never ridicules another man's self improvement plan. I wish his attitude was common.

    another great video and i myself have been on both sides. couple things i wish ppl would address more as it relates to dating in the African American community. slavery has serious distored our views of each other since we are all held to the dominate Societies standards of beauty. meaning the closer u are to white (example: light skin green eyes - ur the man. the darker u are u look like bad). lastly do woman really understand the power they hv over men as it relates to what we are willing to do to make them happy. i.e. sale drugs to other ppl that look like me to make sure u have material wealth.

    • @RomWills
      @RomWills  8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That standard of beauty piece is a big reason Black relationships are jacked up. Black women youtubers have spoke on it from their perspective but it goes both ways. I stated on an internet radio show that a big problem is that Black people generally do not find each other physically attractive. That's the real reason behind swirling (men and women), why some sistas fight over weaves, and why brothas used to get that s-curl. I might have to go live for that one.

I get free food, fly 1st class, all around good treatment. I was just in New York and these Dominican women were asking me what am I mixed with. I just told them I was black. On the West Coast Im just black.
    On the West Coast white women will chase you down. Chase you down down. Women of others races too but white women are on another level of thirst out here. As long as you take care of yourself the blacker the better it is for you in CA.

    So true I'm encountering a gentleman which through time has left me confused and bewildered. He the other day shouted hello to me in front of a bunch of women, startled me to death at that moment. I looked strait into his eye and with a calm medium to low tone voice hello him back I think he felt bad for yelling at me and quietly walked away. A week later I was part of a bake sale at our job location and he was in front of the building waiting for me so he can hold the door open for me. The power of not just femininity but a greater understanding of the opposite sex. My parents were my primary model they were married for 47 yrs. until my mothers passing. My father earned my mothers ultimate love and respect, and my dad 85 yrs old is a true man till this day.

      Rom, let me ask you this. Are the facts you are pointing out in your videos similar across race lines between men and women? And if so, how, if not why? Also, is this just something particular to black people because of our sojourn in a white supremacist america where we know blacks have been so affected between the genders? Are these things due to social engineering? To what extent have we as black men and women perpetuate the view you are articulating as seen through the lens of black men and women? Hope that isn't too much to answer brother, but I'd really like to know.
      Thank you.

      NkrumahTure In my videos unless I specifically say otherwise I'm talking about Black male/female issues. Also what's affecting us is a combination of many factors, white supremacy being just one. Other factors include religion, the media, and the education system. Some of it has to do with bloodlines going back to Africa. To explain everything would take a video series. I think BGS IBMOR has a lot of insight into these issues judging from his videos.

Yeah you will deal with emotional stuff but I try to be upbeat with the man but I got a right to my feelings, etc. I have few problems to share because I am a private person but I guess that's what you get even with friends with benefits. The benefit isn't only sex. It can involve some type of sharing too. Or at least a basic relationship where I can hold a short conversation. It's hard to believe that any of these relationships are just communication through grunting.
