Thank you!!! I don’t have the same smoker but I used WD40 and spun the motor until it was free and it worked!!! Now I can finally start to smoke my ribs. 🤤 funnny thing is I have had my smoker on the ground for 2 years no problem and it’s been on the deck for 2 weeks and I have the same issue you were facing. I’ll be sure to take the cover off when it stops raining now and make sure I hit the motor with wd40 every so often.

Thanks Matt, I think using a food grade lubricant like CRC food grade will be a safer choice. you don't want WD40 fumes to be infused in your food.
was this a long lasting fix or did you have to replace the fan?
It's still working. Never had to replace.
