LSG wasted their resources.
They shouldn't have broken Pooran Stoinis partnership which was so effective for them last seaown.
Despite coming in at 4 and 5, Pooran finished the season at 499 runs.
KL Rahul makes it sound that he'll do anything for the team, but it would have been best suited if he batted at No. 5 with Pooran at 3 and Stoinis at 4, because his approach was always as if they were 4 down when actually they would be 1 wicket down.
Padikkal trade was a disaster and they seemed to have no faith in Mayers
Badoni despite coming in at 60-4 and 70-5 ended up scoring 50s at 150+ strike rate, something KL should take note of

Mayers was pretty good last season even in difficult slow pitches he was performing.. why he didn't get any game is beyond me.. especially when qdk and paddikal both struggling and Rahul doing tuk tuk in powerplay they needed mayers' firepower..

I guess you saw the point of difference that Bumrah makes in the MI side. If they had Bumrah, along with Thushara, they probably could have restricted LSG under 200. But Pooran's hitting was pretty incredible. Rohit Sharma getting into some form was really the only thing of notice for me. Hardik Pandya is a real worry. He is neither bowling well nor batting well. I think he's had 2-3 games where he had a decent spell, and he made one 40 odd all tournament. Its really been a disastrous tournament for him.

Need a documentary on MI 2024 IPL campaign. It was disappointing following MI fans. Stars just couldn't keep their ego in check and play as a team for neutral fans. MI and Rohit fans didn't help with constant booing for Hardik and it was disappointing that Rohit didn't even step in.
The good thing for Rohit is that PBKS will take him and he finally crossed the 400 run mark
